You obviously do! I mean everyone has a little bit of everything. You just have to find which one do you relate most or more than others. It's like a spectrum. 🙂
He described Ni and Fi in a way that leaves little discernable difference. Ni - "constantly trying to figure out the underlying nature behind reality." Fi - "constantly try to understand the fabric of reality on a deeper level." I'm having a hard time figuring out what he is trying to say.
It makes more sense; you don't activate your extroverted functions at the same time as your introverted functions, and you need to toggle/use a judging/perceiving function at the same time for basically all information, so you're going to be using your first and third at the same time, and your second and fourth at the same time as well.
Your descriptions of ISFPs are so uncannily accurate that I am truly starting to appreciate how helpful this framework can be. Truly appreciate your videos, thank you.
@@celiasleigh2805 hahhaha ive been there, dont worry. One tip is to pay attention to what parts of your cognition you can actually perceive and "control" in a certain way. Those are likely your 2nd and 3rd functions
That is so true about being aware of your 2nd and 3rd functions, but not so easily the 1st. And when my 1st (Fi) is on overdrive, my 4th (Te) kicks in and makes it worse by overcompensating - the inmates take over the asylum.
Careful, cause schizoid fantasy can get you out of this world and into madness... Don't deliver values cheaply yo yourself this way. Don't "play' with yourself. Fantasy is _only_ for planning and understanding the world better so you can ACT better to get your values; _not_ for delivering (false and cheap) values. Make sure you're not fantasizing about being rich, ruling, being gorgeous, super smart, knowledgeable, successful, confident, witty, etc... *You're playing with fire.*
Online tests *can* be accurate, but A) it's hard to know which ones if you aren't already schooled in the subject and B) even if they are, you have to have a moderately high degree of self awareness and honesty to get a reasonably accurate result.
Even though the MBTI PERFECTLY captures my way of thinking on the romantic relationship part (INTJ) I still felt unsatisfied since the strengths and weaknesses does not satisfy me because it is so broad that almost any other personality can also relate to it, I really want to confirm it, and then I came across this video accurately and precisely encapsulate on how I solve problems and theories through analogies and metaphorical sentences and then later on you revealed that it was (INTJ).
You’ve said everyone can do everything. As I listen to this I see myself in nearly every description. You’re doing a great job of keeping things cognitive as opposed to behavioral, but it’s hard for me to pin down my own dominant cognition, since all those descriptions seem to commit the same error as type descriptions you criticize for being humanly ubiquitous. Can you clarify how, since I relate to all of these, I can identify my dominant function?
Yes that's fair, the de-boxing can make finding a discrete type a challenge. It's more about observing your inclinations more than the sum of your output. To identify your dominant you need to find a function that feels right and comfortable (Si being internal precision and harmony) and see if its opposite (Ne in that case) feels like something novel, outside of the ego that you can observe much more than act upon.
Your way of describing personalities according to the dominate and tertiary functions is really different from any other analysis I've explored. I am used to being able to explain a person's type using the cognitive functions, but usually not like this. I didn't recognize a lot of the sub-types as you described them (the dominant functions were familiar enough). What really resonated though, and has always resonated for me in your videos, is the description of my own type. I have long typed myself as an INFJ. People often question the "feeler" aspect because I am so much in my head. My mom got me into MBTI when I was a teenager. She thought I was an INTP, but in what I think is typical INFJ fashion, when that description didn't really resonate, I conducted my own analysis. I have considered whether I might be an INTJ, but the functions were all facing the wrong way (I am definitely not an extroverted thinker/introverted feeler). I like how you emphasize the importance of Ti in INFJ's mental make up--I find it to be a huge part of my lived experience that isn't usually acknowledged in typical INFJ descriptions. It follows that if your description of the INFJ type (which I am the most familiar with) really makes sense, there's got to be something to the rest of your descriptions. I will have to ask my family and friends what they think.
Exactly - I apply the same methodology to all the types and there is definitely a consistency there, but with that being said much nuanced is lost when describing the dominant functions absent the ways they are affected by the opposing functions :) Cheers!
What you said about INTJs... explains everything. I've had those exact feelings since I was very young and I could never name the emotion evoked. Turns out is was my Ni and Fi growing together! The next step is to understand what the tug in my stomach has always wanted and find my identity. - INTJ
I'm just so so so confused on what my type is, but thank you so much for your videos! without them i would have never understood functions. It's still pretty difficult for me to identify as something since I basically see myself in a bit of everything but I'll work on it!
Based on my limited understanding of & exposure to the cognitive functions prior, I was rather sure of my type (ENTJ) but due to this video along with part 2, I was able to solidify that position. Thank you for the informative & helpful videos.
With the CPT, I was thrown off at first with the first and third functions being considered the dominant stack. It brings a completely different perspective on all the types; the estp being adept in social situations or the enfp (my type) being an analyst of sorts. This makes sense though as the first and third functions are convergent and we can therefore wield these functions with more freedom.
Based on those definitions, I identify more with ISFJ, which is pretty surprising. I generally identify more with thinking types. I'm looking forward to the other two parts.
Awesome! There are many more ISFJs in this community than might seem readily apparent. Much as with the INFJ, the Ti of this type is highly underrated.
Thank you! I strongly believe a bottom-up approach starting with the cognitive functions (rather than the other way round) can be more time effective in the long run, and I hope once this short series is finished people will have a reliable alternative to online tests :)
Thank You! I've recently been watching your videos hoping to find my own personality. You helped me feel pretty confident that I'm an INFJ. Keep up with your YT channel even through these times.
Wow this makes me really confident that I'm an ESTJ. I have been preaching to myself and others that one of the best ways to solve a problem is "to take what's been done before and fit it to your situation." Sometimes what's been done before may not fit and you have to come up with something new but it's just a good starting point. Even before this video I always had a strong connection to Te-Ne and now I see why.
I've made a little spreadsheet, with all the types and their function stacks, and I'm going through all the videos in this series, ticking or crossing the dominant, auxiliary, etc. functions that sound like me... so hopefully at the end, I'll have a better idea of what functions come up the most... and which types have the most ticked functions...
It is also helpful to identify someone for each type, either someone you know or a public figure. It is easier to see your behavior in other people than to try to self type.
I don't learn just for the sake of learning. Instead, I learn to try and fit the new knowledge into my overall formulations and ideas. Everything I learn, do, and observe needs to benefit all my other goals and objectives in some way and I always consider the relations in the back of my mind. It all fits together and relates in some way. I'm not sure what that means as far as cognitive style, though. When I'm doing one activity or learning one new thing, I'm thinking about how it relates to and can be beneficial to my other projects and goals. I'm very practical about it. I don't like wasting my time learning things that won't serve my purposes. Watching these videos, I have the purpose of trying to better understand myself and help others understand me, to help in my fictional writing and characterization by making more realistic characters, and to better order my life to be able to accomplish what I want to accomplish. I'm having to watch these videos several times to try and comprehend, but I think they're of worth and helpful.
This one's quite long. I started this journey by having ISFP as result, when i was a teenager. Slowly grows, i believe that i am an INFP seeking novelty from MBTI. Then i got INFJ by the time i hit adulthood. Kinda weird at first but ok. But as time goes on, i think that i want this last result to be mine and not changing again. Judging by INFJ's definition from various website, i kinda not sure because INFJ is the harmonious and socially accepted one while INTJ is the analytical one. Then i found your channel. It greatly helps that INFJ is not the one i read from popular website's definition. Your definition has more clicks on me, for example: I am your kind of creating blueprint and predicting future kind of man. I usually focus on large vision, narrow it down till i got the essence, and move by those vision. Yes, i tend to get hypersensitive by social interaction, so i prefer to stay behind, but my motivation oftentimes comes from giving benefits to people. I clearly can understand other person's problem deeply, but i am reluctant to say anything because i dont want to get tired from helping them... Can't say no if i am asked for help. I'm weak to detail, but i cant stand incomplete information. If there is any suggestion for me, feel free to reply. A life is a long long journey at it's best afterall. Thank you for making this channel.
I feel you. I have done every single online test that appear on the first page of Google and I have gotten different results on each test; pretty much getting every single introverted type on different sites and I still don't know which personality type I am. Most of the time I have no idea what I'm doing I just do it and when I try to reflect on what I was doing I can't figure out whether I am creating an ideal reason for what I have done or whether the reason that I have thought, is really why I have done it.
It's good information but there is a lot to take in here, densely packed. In any case I want to say thank you for describing the types in a way that neutralizes intuitive bias.
Fellow psychology enthusyast here!!!🙌 😸 (but I'm much more of a newbie, there is so much to discover everyday...) I love your channel, Harry!👏 I even wrote a school article about my view on this cognitive functions theory and I included in it the link to your video. -And I also do yb. :-)
Looks like I really have to start again at ground zero in determining my type. I can mostly associate with INTJ and INFP, or an INFP who happens to be a frequent (and unwitting) Ni user. The other Fi dominant, ISFP, is one I can barely relate with after seeing the INFP vs. ISFP video. Perhaps this confusion comes from results of test I took several weeks ago (before finding this channel) that gave me solid INFP results. Some websites seem to be biased towards a certain type depending on which dichotomous answer someone chooses. Other websites that offer "tests" (unsure of accuracy) focusing on cognitive functions, however, show that I have relatively low Fi, leading to further confusion.
It can be frustrating to start from scratch but, having done this myself, it will seldom be true ground-zero as it tends to be approached from a better understanding than we had before :)
More than a year after, I'm still stuck between these two, especially their Diver subtypes. Learning about this subtype made me consider the possibility of being any of the introverted types, both sensors and intuitives. I feel like I'd be able to relate to most Divers once they're discussed. I am also looking into the extroverted types as a determiner since the INFP with a flipped orientation manifests as an ENFJ, and the INTJ as an ENTP: both types I can also relate to. It's been a long journey hahaha
Love this! I’m pretty sure I’m an ENTP the Weird rogue. The value in this is helping me connect with my other humans (starting though not limited to my wife), and at least be more understanding of them from the get go.
Till now I’m relating to half of these, all of them make sense to me and seem to apply to me so it’s still not clear to what I am. Thank you for the explanation by the way.
I’ve finally figured out that I’m an ISFP after all this time. I’ve been going so much back and forth between INFJ and INFP bc I noticed I had both introverted intuition and introverted feeling and I was so confused and now things are so much more clear to me! Question though. I’ve always been very detached form reality. Is that a trait of the ISFP? Bc if not, whelp. Then I’m lost again.
The Se of the ISFP tends to be overplayed by type descriptions - while the type can lock into meaningful concrete experience it is important to note that Se is still an opposing function. Furthermore, unconscious Ne can make the ISFP even more detached in some instances than the Se-unconscious INFP :)
I portray the dominant functions in this video so, as I said in the description, as a single video this will not be an effective means of determining your type. Hence why it is a series. In making shorter videos nuance must be sacrificed, but offering people descriptions of the cognitive functions is still more helpful than having them take a test and expect them to define themselves by the result they receive. I am not telling people what types they are, I am saying what type they might be should they happen to resonate significantly more with one dominant stack than the other.
Interesting.. I relate to the INFP and INFJ so something’s off haha. Definitely have to check out more videos. Btw your descriptions for the types are amazing! You’ve really thought them through and they’re more accurate than any online description I’ve read! :)
Bonjour Harry! I looooved this video ! To me it felt like a little quizz I could play along, since you first give a description then give the name of the type. I was trying my best to guess what you would say next and was not very successful but that is great news because that means there is still lots to learn 🤗. While you were listing how types focus on different things, I started thinking : it's amazing how each one is valid and beautiful in it's own way. Sometimes I wish I could try each one out for a day... (did my Ne just say that out loud?! 😆). Cheers !! Claire
Hehe that does sound fun - another INFP commented a similar thing, which is a very interesting correlation! I strongly believe all types are pretty incredible and do feel a lot of descriptions favour some at the expense of others. Cheers Claire :)
What I learned: I relate to 10/16 of the types. I'm private and like small social gathers like an ENFJ. I like to expand my expertise like an ISTP, but also like to master skills like an ESFP. I'm a creature of habit like an INTP. I can hone in to achieve goals like an ENTJ (almost maniacally so), but I also feel really sensitive to social situations and what everyone is feeling like an ENTP. Maybe this all points to the INTJ (which I also related to) thinking... who am I? 😅
This is an important first step! The first thing to realise is the connectedness between all the types in this respect. INFJ sounds more likely than INTJ though, as they'll be less (accutely) sensitive to the social situation!
@@CognitivePersonality Yes! I went through your second video in this series and have fairly confidently landed on INTJ, INFJ, ENTJ, and (weird outlier) ESFP. The oppositional functions of INTJ were spot on - getting lost for hours on a task obsessively, but I imagine an INFJ (seeks to understand) and ENTJ (goal oriented) can have that tendency as well. Still need to watch the third video, but this has been a great exercise as someone interested in deeply understanding these personality types!
Truly it takes a while to find your type - I'll be presenting the opposing functions in the next episode which will give people a much stronger idea. This video just serves as a starting point :)
@@CognitivePersonality Hehe. I mean, I overlooked the connection between the function that was introduced first and the followinng 2 type descriptions. So I had a lot of options to choose from. 😂
I have been told that i'm INTP many times and all of the test results was INTP but Thanks to you i've realized that i am IXFP(still with many doubts :) ) but now the new question is between ISFP & INFP It's like that i've never accept myself lol :) Or just want to know myself or just want to label myself with something
I know my type already (which is ISTP) and I’m watching these videos primarily to discern how plausible this system is and if there are elements in it that I can incorporate into my internal framework of understanding personality types. So I may be biased and am still skeptical but I have to say that your description of ISTP is spot on and much more accurate than the usual stereotypes.
yeah a lot of tests have been pretty off putting even when referring to the functions because they go more by frequency of use rather than what your “core” supposedly is, which makes sense because the latter isn’t really something you can detect in an online quiz (as disappointing as that may be lol)
Among all these descriptions, the initial identification was for Te (contrary to what I imagined. Until this video, it typed me as an ESTP). Then when you started describing ENTJ. "Do you feel your scope of reality is very precise and narrow in nature? Do you prefer to hone in more on the details? And a especific medium than encompass a vast array of moving parts?" Certainly. My viewpoint on what I should do to become who I should be is extremely limited, to a level that I wouldn't so much like it to be. I'm also highly detail oriented, and I have an insane need to transform myself into everything I can become. I hope I have correctly understood what it is to be an ENTJ. If I got it wrong, please correct me. By the way i was deceived . As you described, I imagined this characteristic to be ESTJs. "Then I'm probably ESTJ", until you reveal that all these characteristics are ENTJ lmao
Lol. I watched this video to try and find my type after searching for it for years... and found out that I was actually relating it to others like... "haha that sounds like my mom." or "hmmm so this person really IS this type." but not mine ahahahahah
Well, I thought I was definitely an NP type with INFP and INTP being pretty likely, but those resonated less with me here than usual, whereas ISTJ and INTJ resonated a lot in addition to the 2 extroverted thinking types. Thanks, I'm more confused than ever. (Half joking, I actually appreciate this re-framing a lot)
People who fall under this category would find little cathartic release in understanding a novel new idea without some kind of attachment/pragmatic outcome/existential relief tied to the system/criteria in question :)
It’s interesting to separate the extroverted functions from the introverted. I often noticed how I perceive myself is so different than how others perceive me.
This video made it more confusing than reading blogs about personality types. Is there a beginner level video for someone who isn’t in the psychology field?
No. It is simply impossible to understand. You must turn back lest you be devoured by the vortex. Heed my sooth traveler and divest yourself from this course, and take up something anew. Perhaps toe counting, or quilting.
Both employ Si and Ti, but the ISFJ is more internally experiential as a lens-dominant, whereas the INTP seeks to assign value more often for it's own sake :)
@@rayanuchiwa2185 You may be neither - this video only presents the dominant dialogue, and many ISFPs mistype as INTPs despite rationalising from an Fi origin. You could be an ISFJ though :)
- Haphazard stack of papers later* ...I find I come away from this one feeling stupid lucky about my type discovery (if I'm right about me! ☺️ ), but yeah, I wouldn't recommend anyone go about finding their type the way I did! Maybe at some point I'll actually get professionally typed just to make extra-double sure I'm INTJ - definitely took notes here! Much info to chew on - thanks! 👏
I realized I'm an intj.. and it's really not what people think, it actually led me to avoid the whole thing entirely... I mean, who is really a "robot" cmon... I just have a tool box and a way of using said tools alot of the time.. it's pretty vague, every intj is completely different, actually it's in the nature of the type to be completely different... Edit: the rabbit hole goes deeper, I’m an isfp. Let this comment be an example. I just developed my Ni before my se, because I was unhealthy.
my goal in life is to figure out who i am. i do things my own way and hate having to see people mess it up (i drive myself nuts when i screw up too, as i have a terrible time with wanting an outcome to be exactly as i expected it.) i don’t know i don’t even really think about that “future” per say but I just kinda know how i want things to go and work towards that, and i definitely get heated when things go wrong. i can’t tell if these are functions at play, or if i’m just being a gigantic man child bc i get frustrated (enraged i have terrible emotional control as is) when the plan (or envisioned outcome) doesn’t come true?
I relate about 50% with everything except for the extroverted sensors in this video. I think I just need to save up ten hours' work in order to buy two hours of your time. This is driving me crazy.
I’ve watched a couple of your videos and all I’ve grasped is you might not be the type you think you are and online tests are usually not good. I don’t know if anyone else is having this struggle but I really want to understand what you’re saying. But you speak to me at least I don’t even really know how to describe it with a lot of terms or examples that I just don’t understand. I guess I’ll never know lol. I’ve also tried looking online at cognitive function and didn’t understand any of that either. I think maybe the themes are too outside of what I can put into scenarios to decide for myself what I relate to. Some of it I can’t even understand because I don’t know what it means flat out. 😅
Whew! I think I’m still just as confused as before 😅 I’m relating to everything except for extroverted feeling, so I’m not able to quite narrow it down yet. I *think* I’m ISTP, INTP, or ENTP, but more research is in order 😂
This video had me questioning my type and ultimately I think I may have been wrong. I thought I was an INTP but I am always getting bored and looking to expand my base of knowledge, look at things from a different perspective and try new things. That is an entirely good thing. It's a mark of a truly good video that you can turn someone's assumptions of themselves upside down!
ah thats really strange, i've done the test a few times and damn, the result was always enfp and entp, and i really identified myself, but recently i deep dived into the subject to find who i really am, i thought about being infj or infp but by this video i actually indentified way more with isfp than any other type, that's fucking strange, im a social chameleon, i adapt everywere and have different aproaches on every place, and its hard to indentify yourself into something if you are like this, what i know is that i like to analise people, think smartly about ways of doing something, emotionally or matearially, i like new experiences but i need some time alone, and that i love overthinking and analysing everything, i like being alone and thinking by my own about life but when im having fun, i just live the moment and do whatever it comes to mind, life is a wonderfull thing, and i fucking enjoy it, anyway, what do you think my type is?
Shit! I think im an ENFP. But... my intp memes! Am i gonna have to start socializing now and feel relaxed around other people instead of enjoying my anxiety comfort blanket? Am i supposed to now publicly go out and do something instead of telling myself 'it cant be helped'? But i like being lazy and antisocial! I dont want to give them up! Can i just be an intp a little longer! Please!
Heh, I certainly wouldn't make absolute conclusions before the CPT Find Your Type series is complete but I see no reason why an Ne dominant should feel compelled to interact with others more than they are comfortable :) I also think archetypes can only take us so far!
I'm thinking I'm mostly an INTJ since I can really only see the world in patterns. I also live by an existential principle of assimilating new truths I discover into my being and changing who I am to live up to my understanding of the values I generate from the patterns I see. As a child and young adult, I couldn't read an emotional atmosphere the majority of the time and preferred positing a solution to emotional strife and turmoil by way of rational deductions from how I saw the problem arise through the patterns I saw. I had to study literature to develope the eloquence of speech required to articulate the connections I made and verbally express them. I picked up skills and talents as I went trying to Frankenstein my ideal version of myself. For all the effort I put in, I can never seem to make up for the inadequacies I have regarding feelings; of others or my own. At first I believed I was an INTP. I share a good bit of the habits an INTP, only my driving force and my skill set don't incline me toward the preferences of an INTP. I much prefer the vagueness of philosophy to the minute details of other sciences.
@@CognitivePersonality I took your suggestion and watched your comparative video on INFJ and INTJ. I think you may be right. I especially relate to not being aware of objects, as well as the immense need for individual novelty. My proclivity towards poetry, art, and creative expression, and aversion from more STEM systems, is probably the deciding factor. I was so set on logic I didn't consider I was inclined to extroverted feeling. I'll continue perusing your content, of which I'm grateful for helping me better understand myself and the people around me.
What the types truly are cognitively simply doesn’t match up with anything you see with the more pop culture / pinterest aspect of the types Within cpt I think I am an ISTP but stereotypically resonate with ENTP
I spend most of my time in my head,i mean i have imagined conversation/inner dialogues. It helps me process my feelings and thoughts.I do it as if i am explaining myself. The image of the other person may or may not appear. And its not intentional(it spontaneous),i belive it my default processing mode. Please help me figure out which cognitive function manifest in such a way. Thanks
Sir, i usually get 50/50 when it comes to feelings and thinking But everything else tends to always lean to me being an Introvert, Sensor & Perceiver..
I'm definitely an Introvert thinker but I am tied between INTP and ISTP. I take something very specific but I like to adapt new things; jumping from other things to another as I get bored --thinking another idea would adapt better than the one the world offer. Hmmmm may I ask of assistance in this?
I am 15 years old. I am trying to figure out my type I am studying these functions and I am identifying with INTJ and INFJ. This is interesting I am Brazilian and I love this channel. +1 sub If the owner of this channel answers this comment I will be very happy :)
Honestly you language is very high context and kinda hard for non native speakers to grasp. I felt as if I fall in a lot of the mentioned types :$ Like between intj and intp
All I do everyday is wake up, go to work, come home, eat dinner, chat with friends online and look up about random topics of interest (at this point, it is personality theory) for 4 or 5 hours, then go to bed and do it all again. I don't think about my "role in society", or "constantly try to understand the fabric of reality", or "condense all objective information into a single theory". I just go through the motions of life and see if something cool happens. I can't pick a personality type because I just have no idea what these mean or where to start.
I think an important point that is missed is that you are talking about people of at least a certain age, that have had the time and experience to develop and entrench their 3rd stack (in their 20s at least). I can imagine that a significant part of your audience is younger than that, and are still experiencing the big change of focus that comes with developing this 3rd stack (and may mistake this with a change of type).
I found the comments on emotional reaction to past events interesting and how they can be specific. I do identify as INFp but am never really sure of the certainty of this.
Okay, as I feared... on another video I wrote a comment that at least I'm sure that the first two letters of my personality types are "IN", but I have trouble figuring out what the other two letters should be. Now after watching this video, the N has "fallen" as well. So I have gone from 4 to 8 possibilities... I don't expect the I to fall too. Occasionally people act surprised when I describe myself as an introvert, but those people only or mostly ever encountered me in situations where I force myself to behave in an extroverted way for some purpose/goal, and they don't notice how straining it is for me at all... EDIT: In general, I seem to be answering "Yes" to a lot of those questions you put. Do I have a wildcard personality which can turn into almost every type when needed?? :D
I really like your system. I think you nailed the definitions and the general correlation between the functions. But I also think that this kind of typing is really confuse, not as objective as it should be. People will easily be able to relate to at least 4 of your types definitions. In short: great concepts, kinda poor application. I also believe that it would be more helpful if you give more examples. I hope this rant can help you somehow lol
I like the idea of everything being refined into a formula...intp-esque? Honestly I've type as an intj, isfj, istp, infj and intp. I heard from c.s Joseph that entps are notoriously difficult to type. And I was pretty hyper when I was younger...so maybe also entp?
Harry, I'm wondering which type or group of functions seek find the "ideal" essence and value of all things, and to centre their entire life on moulding themselves into that underlying "truth"?
I always get so excited when you upload videos and I'm super excited for the upcoming series. YAY! Your videos and your book have all been extremely fascinating. I do have a question though, if I may, what does it mean when Ne doms take in a plethora of information - how does that work? What sort of things might an Ne dom pick up if they were, say, working in a food factory? I want to imagine/simulate what that would be like since I can't yet settle on a single type.
Thank you so much, I really appreciate this comment! The nature of Ne is to gaze upon a large portion of external reality - as such, the relationship between perceived components is intuitively understood. Working in a food factory Ne is aware of how all the various processes relate to eachother, but but must dip into Se in order to ground oneself in the moment and pay total attention to the task at hand :)
Hi!! I want to know myself what type of personality I am an INFP or ENFP. My test result, I am an INFP with Extraversion 50%, Introversion 50%. I am learning to know myself at age of 44 😄. Thank you a lot of for your works that I can dive in to learn more about myself. I hope I could find out who I am.
Would thought-labelling during quiet mindfulness exercises help us understand the prevailing origin of our cognition? During two months of daily mindfulness the majority of my own completely spontaneous thoughts are a specific type of memory flashback (from past hikes/walks). I get the same flashbacks during normal daily activity and wondered if it could be unconscious Si or if it's just normal for everyone
i didnt figure out my mbti, im still at the crossroads between infp and infj but i did realise that personality types are confusing as hell and i feel dumb to not understand it :’)
It's weird because based on mbti stereotypes and memes I relate to INTPs the most, but when I read its cognitive functions I don't relate to them. Maybe is it because I act like an INTP but think like another type?
