This is my GOAL. An early rise, get school work done by lunch. Right now our homeschool schedule is less than ideal because of my husbands work schedule, our sleep schedule, having a special needs daughter that requires me to be up super late 3 nights a week when I don’t have overnight help with her so I am extremely exhausted in the morning. Like I literally can’t get up and have breakfast started before 8. Thanks for sharing. It was refreshing to watch another family homeschool and it look like real life. 😊
Having kids being able to work independently makes such a difference. And yes, it takes training! When I was a kid, I pretty much always finished my schoolwork before lunch. One of my sisters, meanwhile, regularly finished schoolwork after 5....personality has an effect, for sure! That swing looks like it's a pretty popular place to hang!
wow i have to say this is the first day in the life that looks like real life!!!! i feel normal now😊🤗 thank you soo soo much for this wonderful video!!! you have adorable children❤
I love seeing how you incorporate Naomi‘s needs with the other children’s school work! We do the same thing but differently because my daughter is 10 who has special needs. ❤️❤️
I just have to say that I love that you are so real!!! I don't know how to edit videos, so if I was to do a video...you would hear me yelling all the time!! Lol!!!
We are finished with school before lunch as well. It's so freeing! I let Hope pick what she wants to work on as well. As long as she gets done I don't care about the order.
My oldest often is roaming around but then we she sees me coming she goes over to her list...😂 It’s so great to see that I’m not alone in most of this!!
I can't wait to see how you plan everything out the night before! I'm still new to all of this and my oldest is first grade so not much is independent right now...
I actually have some videos. i mainly use IEW, Fix It Grammar, Teaching Textbooks and Truth quest. Here's a video of my transition from Fall to Winter. I talk about the curriculum and I do put links (pretty sure.) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hotfYcf49DU.html

It varies, we do keep the skills daily Math, grammar, spelling, phonics, piano, copy work, Bible, Spanish. And then the unit studies we rotate, Science and social sciences. With literature we will interweave throughout.
@@LivingWithEve oh wow. Must keep you guys busy. I just try to get through English, maths and science or geography for my seven year old. Plus reading. It's hard with the ADHD. Teen does gather round he struggles a bit in the literacy department but we also do math and English. Some days history textbook and geography bit of an uphill slog at times. Reading too if course.
