Dono why i get so excited by seeing that perfect line lay. Flawless across the spool. Hard to find or even tune a reel to do that.

Just bought 3 Heddon Rattlin Sonars in 1/2 oz size from VanDam Warehouse on-line. $4.49. Gold, Silver and Chartreuse. Went last Saturday early December 2023. Temps 54 degrees in Central Indiana. Light SW wind. Using the Gold bladed bait. Skin hooked a 7 pounder Largemouth Bass. Tried to lip him. But the only treble hook broke through the skin and he slowly swam away. I was bank fishing. Jumped in the water trying to get the fish. It would have been my PB fish. Never felt the bite at all. So fishermen. When fishing bladed bait. Be on the look out for a Bass on not moving. Caught me of guard. 😮 Caught a 2 pounder later on a White paddle tail swim jig. Shawn.
