Great video. What about on a sand beach? In NJ here, bass are somewhat scarce from the beach. I try throwing bucktails all the time, I only catch stuff on the gulp teaser
Love fishing lighter buck tails in the rocks, people always tell you heavy is better but I also tend to disagree. Sad to have put my rods away this weekend. Had some killer fishing on the MA south coast right up till 2 weekends ago
I have a terrible time with bucktails even for fluke I find they always eat the teaser so now I just use a weight. For bass I never catch with them in the surf and in the inlet I just lose bucktails left and right.
Great video. My favorite lures for stripers are the bucktail, sand eel and flukes. I liked and subscribed. I was using a whole live mackerel this one day when I was after a 40 plus inch striper but I hooked a great white shark instead while fishing fom my kayak. Part of my video was recently used on the Discovery Channel episode called The Great White North. Toss me a subscription if you like, I only need a couple more to get 1000 :) Cheers
