How To Fish For Haddock. Boat Fishing Tips and how to use a sonar to increase your catches. Want to catch more fish from a boat then this is the video for you. Tight lines Phill www.skarnsundet-fishing.com
On a recent trip to Iceland for my wifes 30th I took a 5 piece shakespeare Agility 2. I knew I would only get one chance to fish on this trip so the very first morning I was up at 5am and fishing right in the middle of Reykjavik on the sun voyager statue. I was expected cod but it was a haddock every cast between 2 and 3 lb. I was very impressed with the fight in the deep water. It was only arond 12 meters deep but in darkness. I had never caught a haddock before, they are few and far between in the Bristol Channel, though my brother has caught one from the shore. I had a nice size whiting too. I went to Bodo in march last year and I expected to pick up a few haddock but we didnt. I'd love to come out to skarnsundet and fish it from the shore! Cheers
Enjoy watching your videos. Think its interesting to see how varied the fishing is around Skarnsundet and the quality of the fish caught. Think the coastline north and west of Trondheim offers the best fishing in Norway because of the range of species you can get. Have been to the area a number of times, usually around Hitra and Kristiansund, but seeing the fishing in the Skarnsundet area I am seriously tempted to give it a go too :)
I must admit I love the varied fishing at Skarnsundet and still a great chance of a specimen. Welcome any time just send me a mail to phill.dakle@hotmail.co.uk Cheers
