I don't recall ever seeing that type of jig in any of the local tackle shops. I may have to go online. Great presentation for explaining the techniques and getting the most out of that type of jig.
hi thanks for the good info, what are you using for the rod butt protectors? for when they are in the rod holders. i have been looking for something to use & yours look good cheers jeff
@@amigocompadre2012 Hey hey , yes it seems weird, but a slow retrieve stops spiralling and 'maximum avoidance' of an inhiku (which is intentionally unbalanced/erratic), it was only after many times of very few strikes with normal aggressive jig action, but then good solid hookups on slow retrieves...and started to analyze why .. so the fish can time it's strike easier, and it works particularly well when the fish are shy, or slow/tentative on the bite. Definitely worth a try when you're out there 🤙
