Couldn’t stop laughing when you finally got that last good fish up and you’re just standing there not saying anything and the camera slowly pans over to another . . . big . . . China 😂
Great timing, I just got two each of the squidtrex and the vertrex vibe, looking forward to dropping them for grouper and red snapper. Thanks for your hard work and great videos! 😎🌴🍹
Hey Matty, thanks for doing this video! It helps for a newbie like myself to understand more about jigging and vibing. If it’s not too much to ask, could you do a video teaching how you set yourself up for a drift? - How to position the craft etc.
I did an unboxing test review on the squid-trex when they first came out, didn't get a great outcome but just grabbed another one the other day to give it another crack. You've done quite well !!
Hi Marty just found your channel love the vids can you go into what gear you’re using as in leader ,braid line weight and the rods and reels as I am a old timer and been doing the bottom bashing for 55+ years around Mackay and Withsundays and out to the hard line a lot off your spots look familiar to me and the island
Awesome video matt. What size tackle are you using? Braid, leader size? Also do you have a preference for weight jigs to water depth? Jigs and squidtrex.
I always use the same setup. nomad pe2-4 jig with a saltiga 15h, pe3 ammonite braid and 100ln panderra leader. jig weights all come down to the day and current flow but basically. 80g will do 20-50m and 120g will do 40-80m
Has anyone told u that ur actually a tank bro love the videos bro keep I’m coming I’ll be down that way soon for a fish with a mate should be good as fins up
First time watching. Good video. I was hoping to get names of the species you caught, so I missed not having that for most. Maybe I need to be Aussie for that.
hey matty, any chance you could do a video of schooled up barra. so showing us when you find them and then where you position your boat with spot lock and where abouts you are casting for them. im always finding stacks of them on my sounder but cant work out where to position my boat to have a crack at them.
Reels lexa and saltiga Rods, nomad pe 2-4 on the Lexa and will be a nomad aswell on the bigger reel Jigs nomad buffalo 100 - 120g Vibe Nomad squidrex In terms I have no clue if I’m bang on but I pretty confident hahahaha
Southern Qld, like offshore from Moreton & Stradbroke island? I’m guess a bombie or single rock structure located in no man’s land anywhere is prob gonna hold bait and draw predatory fish, but figured I’d ask your opinion 🤔
their actual name is a chinamen fish and in Queensland where were fishing they have ciguatera but in Western Aus they don't have it and are very good eating
