Thanks Devon! I’ve been fishing Strawberry my whole life so it’s just a matter of finding what works best and when throughout my experience. This technique definitely seems to produce the most fish for me, but the size of fish tend to be smaller than other techniques.
Can you tell if the boat is moving and at what speed. When you drop the line, how far do you let the line out. Are you do any movement on the rod to trigger the bite. Thanks
I was pretty stationary over the day, so not much moving outside of jigging the tube back. I'm casting, so as far as I can cast. As far as movement with the rod, it varies by day. Sometimes the fish was small jigs with the rod, other times you can slowly raise the tip.
Hey thanks for showingvwherevto fish but I would rather see your technique 😮rigging, casting retrieving the lure inseted of watching only the fights which I already have confidence in landing fish. But I'm dedefinatly subscribing!
Awesome video, heading up tomorrow and looking forward to trying some of your techniques. Are you getting most of your hits on the bottom or is the jig suspended? Also, are you doing much jigging or just casting it out and letting it sink to the bottom?
Suspended, rarely do I ever hit the bottom (not saying they won’t bite off the bottom). Definitely more casting and working the tube back, not so much vertically jigging. Vertical jigging is very fun but I’ve never had it out fish casting and covering water.
