How To Fish the Rapala Original Floating Lure | Rapala Fishing Tips 

The floating Rapala is a true classic. I first learned to use it as teen...I’m now a Senior and still use em. Back then they were made out of balsam wood. I still have a few with teeth marks on them. I have caught Northern Pike, Walleye, Large Mouth & pan fish on them. I prefer to put split shot 12 inches ahead of the lure which always worked best for me.

Would be nice to see how you’d weight the lines and show reeling technique.

My favorite retrieve is to reel in, let it float up and give it a quick reel in and repeat

Ive caught more bass on top water. Rapala gold and black than any other top water plug f9 f11 f13. They are awesome i have bought two whopper ploppers aint caught nothin 0 on either one
