Hey, where did you put the blue wire that’s attached to the antenna converter part? I’ve got the antennas blue cable going into the plug, which connects to the white and blue cable on the opposite side of the plug. Did you have yours hanging loose after connecting the white and blue cable to the blue cable? I hope that made sense
Thanks for this! I've got Bose speakers which are all amped and made the same mistake as you. Did you have any grounding issues? One of my speakers has and intermittent high pitch drawn out beep that only occurs when the engine is on

Hey. I have just purchased a different head unit but got the connects2 kit. However I don't have steering wheel controls. Can i get away with not needing to fit the little box that comes with the quad lock loom, do you know? Thanks
Hi Sammy, if you watch from about 18:30-21 mins you will see I had the same problem. I ended up connecting it differently to what the connects2 kit said as the rear speakers and sub was not working. If you have connected it how I have said in this video and are still having problems, I’m not too sure what to suggest. If you go to 20:25 you should get a good view of the two wires I connected to cure that problem. Let me know if that helps
OJ's Annals thank you I have watched it but struggling to understand which blue wires you connected together? Is it the one coming off the antenna connect to blue and white? I held them together but that made no difference...
No, from memory and having a recap from the video the blue wire coming off the antenna made no difference whether it was connected or not, so I didn’t connect it; I connected the blue and white wire which comes out the loom/connector that is directly connected into the stereo (which will already have a crimp on it) to the blue wire coming out of the loom which will connect directly to your factory harness, it has a bullet connector crimped onto it already. Let me know if that helps?
I bought that Connects2 Interface for an Audi A3 8P with Concert radio and amplified system. But only the front speakers worked for me, the rear speakers and the amplifier in the trunk didn't work. Does anyone else have that problem? And how did they solve it?
Could be to do with how the power wiring is wired. From memory it wants to be switch lived power, it doesn’t want to be constantly fed power. If it is constantly fed power than that could be one possible reason. Not 100% sure though
Figured the kit u have is the one that does the trick... Cos it does not store memory or switch off whn I take the key out or play like the original... I connected mine straight up... Is that my problem u think?
