In this video I show you how to install and adjust concealed cabinet hinges on kitchen and cupboard doors.
There are many types of hinge to choose from, so with help from this video, and the hinge manufacturer, ensure you purchase the correct hinge for the job.
For reference, I'm using 18mm MDF for the door and side panel.

I have been struggling for hours to try to fit the doors and could not hold it up, having fixed the back of the unit to the wall, l - then I thought about RU-vid, and you reminded me about taking the hinge apart and it snapping together. So this 82 year old says very many thanks.

The best video explaining how to attach these hinges hands down!!! The only thing I wished was for you to show the hinge side of the door when fully adjusted. That has been my issue, always having too large a gap by the hinge side. Going to try your hinge next time. Thanks again, great job!!

Hi JB, I have an issue with the gap between door and edge of box MDF on hinge side and top. My door is 1.8m(h) x 0.6(m) I have used 3 hinges.

May be you can put the cabinet upside down and the surface can be used to make the top of the door flush with the top frame?

Can you put the hinges backwards? 7 recessed end in the cabinet and the other side on the door?

I was excited to learn from your video. I’m about to install Blum Blumotion cup hinges. You lost me at 1:06 when you said the adjustable hinges are “quite fancy.” Honestly, how much money do you save by buying an off brand? Sorry, I’ll look elsewhere.
