Sorry for the stupid question but if I buy a double union ball valve do I need to buy glue to fix the couplings to the pipe? And then just screw in the ball valve from both sides with the outer couplings? Thanks 😊
Hi Steve, yes the unions are slid on the pipe first and the flange is glued to the pipe. The flange / valve will have a rubber seal which forms tge seal when the unions are screwed to the valve body
