Not sure why you drilled a hole through the back panel when you had a pre-existing grommet close by that you could have used It's good practice to use a grommet whenever you pass wires through metal as it stops them chaffing and shorting to ground
Would have been useful if you explained what the red and black cable was. I guess is the power supply to the unit? You never showed the connection of the sensors into the unit. Otherwise I learned a bit.
The Backoffice it's deffo the best method, I fitted a tow bar and electrics at the same time and their playing up so will redo the lot, think the reason I didn't partly was my Citroen has numbered wires so wasn't too sure of what was what
+Marcel Ooms Yeah pretty good, I was sceptical Because this unit only had two sensors, but if you appreciate the limitations (limited side view), they work pretty well. Definitely better than no sensors! 😁
Hmmm, I drive a giant Renault Grand Espace, and take some pride in reverse parking it without sensors. I'm so vain... :-) But really, these are worth considering!.
+Marcel Ooms Flat back vehicles are pretty easy to park. I love those minivan style vehicles. I have / had a c8, basically a van. A more recent vehicle I have acquired would be impossible to park owing to poor visibility. Swings and roundabouts 😂
