Thanks mate, saved me hundreds of dollars. All the instructions (even the ones in the genuine Holden bolt kit) are for sedans. Took me 4 hours, two of which were going to Bunnings and buying a Dremel and cutting the bumper. Cheers.
Very helpful... I found it hard to get the trailer connection under the little storage box.. couldnt get the bugger out! Its now a little worse for wear😳
Awesome video Byron. I’m wondering if you could do one on wiring up a light plus as well as removing rear light assembly. Many thanks in advance. Simon from Hobart Tasmania
Hey mate, do you have the part number for the tow bar you took off? I've pulled off the rear bumper of mine to have a look and there's an aluminium brace which yours doesn't seem to have as well?
G'day mate part number for the tow bar genuine Holden 9220 7452 And those holes are there from factory they hold down the tie-down supports in the back of the wagon and it's a 15mm socket the bolts are 10mm bolt tread size. That aluminium section you're talking about could be the crash bar/ impact bar don't quote me on that one though sorry
@@downtheshedwithbyron Legend! Thanks mate, I'm buying the same Genuine holden part so based on your guide it should be a relatively easy install! Did you need to cut an additional hole for the trailer plug next to the hitch?
