Thanks mine had a lot of silicon or sika flex that jayco used so was harder to get off, but it eventually did come off & i fixed my broken hinge. Thanks your video help me a lot,, cheers!

Good video. Doing the same on a 2017 flamingo tourer. I think they used a tube of silicone on the door frame at factory - took ages to work/cut off

Great fix mate, love the reinforced backplate. The exact same thing happened to us in December 2021 in Uladulla. Wind send it flying around 2m!!!. Couldn't get the plate off so I drilled and countersunk holes in the hinges for self tapping screws to bolt straight back into the frame. That was after the top part of the door popped it's rivets the day before leaving on holiday...junk.
