Awesome. I have a 1974 record player stereo set in which the old RCA connector wire was frayed and tearing at the plug. It has a weird old RCA plug with two different size positive plugs (left speaker plug was smaller than the right so you couldn't plug the 'wrong' wire into the hole) so I couldn't just wire in one of the newer ones and my only option was to saw the molded plastic off the connector plug and try to re-use/repair the RCA connectors. I wasn't clear about exactly how those are supposed to be wired and soldered and other vids didn't go into any specifics on that or show different angles as they worked. Thanks a lot for the detailed overview. Now I'm sure I can get this old turntable hooked up and going good.
