I have these exact same chairs that came with an oak table. They are about 28 years old now. The joints are still very tight however they would need more than just a touch up to look really nice again. Twenty five years ago I acquired 3 parrots who love to climb in those chairs. The claw and beak marks in the rails and the curved wood backs are excessive. You’d probably have to replace the whole backs of all the chairs to make them look good again. The moral of the story is don’t own wood furniture if you have parrots. I should know, I went through 6 coffee tables before I bought a wrought iron and slate one.
