2020 UPDATE:
The Clarisonic brand is shutting down on September 30, 2020. I found this out via Ulta.com. The brush heads will no longer be made either. So, either use this video to fix your current one or find a new facial brush brand. This announcement does not come as a surprise to me considering so many people have issues with this product.
In this video, my husband, Tommy of all Trades, takes apart my mom's Clarisonic Pro and easily fixes it! It had not been holding a charge, meaning that the rechargeable batteries were just DONE, but my mom knew Tommy could fix it!
My husband has done this for many of our appliances around the house. He easily fixed a T.V. that a repair shop told him to throw away. He fixed our washing machine for $8 when it would have cost over $200. Often times things CAN be fixed and my husband loves to at least try to fix things before we know they are DONE.
So many brands now days want people to throw things away and buy new. While that seems like a good idea in theory to make money, our landfills keep getting more and more filled with appliances. Everyone should at least attempt to have something fixed before dumping it.
