Hey Frank, just a couple of things: (1) At approximately 4:35 into your video you said "the 20 amp is the 20 gauge wire". That's not correct. A 20 amp circuit needs to be 12 AWG (gauge) wire. The cross-sectional area of 12 AWG wire is larger than 14 AWG wire, which means it has a higher current rating. (2) An alternative solution to use if the circuits are not overloaded is an electrical pigtail with a third wire. The third wire is then connected to the breaker as a single tap. Keep up the good work, I appreciate your videos.
what is the solution for double tapped neutrals when not enough neutral screws are available in the panel and all the grounds have been routed to a separate ground bus bar?
Frank, do I need a a main breaker/switch for my main lug panel? Problem is, I have an 8 space panel and I need the 8 spaces but didn’t consider the main breaker….if I need the main breaker that leaves me with 6 spaces. I’m assuming the mini breakers will get me back to 8 k no?
I saw video of an electrician adding an extra neutral bar to the panel. Is this legal what he is doing here? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Kyc0dlZ-u8o.htmlsi=tQEKQnRh_D7H6XP8
