How to Fix a MacBook that Won’t Charge

I am currently living and working abroad and anything to do with technology (or fixing tech) is very expensive here. I nearly had a full on panic attack when my battery status was no longer showing on my home screen anymore and my charger wasn't lighting up when plugged into my laptop. I was worried I would have to pay an arm and a leg to get the problem fixed but I stumbled upon your video, followed your directions, and it solved the issue!! Thank you so very much!!

Resetting the SMC by holding down the keys worked! My charger immediately lit up and my dead 2010 macbook pro turned on. I had so much work on there, this was a HUGE relief! Thanks man :)

That is amazing, removing the battery, pressing power button for five seconds, reinserting the battery and pressing the power button >>> and it works! SMC is reset, it is now powered on and battery is charging! That has saved hundreds of pounds, thank you so much!
