This video is in response to a request I received to get a better look at what I did to get rid of a loud click in a desk chair. Original Video Here • How to Fix a Noisy Des... Inspired by this video • How to Repair DX Racer...
@@thetireddadtech3827 Yes I did that, they have the soft thin like rubber spacer, I don't know if that would hold? I'll go back tomorrow maybe buy like 10-20pcs and stack them all up together?
Pretty much. It's a clean and re-lube of those parts. The metal post, washers, and bearings. The purpose of the video was to see if I could do it and to share my experience with the viewers. Thanks for watching!
I came here after watching Barnacules' video, to see if there was a little more detail. There was less. AND your "new" camera view shows the back of your hand. Total plagiarism, badly done, and a waste of time.
I'm glad you stopped by. I am admittedly bad at this and thank you for pointing that out. As far as the plagiarism goes, I wanted to see if his fix helped me. If you saw the first video you'll also take note that I credited Barnacles for the idea. Enjoy your day.
@@thetireddadtech3827 Sorry about being so hard on you, and yes, I did hear you mention him in this video. Me, I'm less squeaky after removing the chair part and adding 3-in-1 from the top, which helped quite a lot but now I'm waiting to get my lithium lube to tackle it from the other end. All this for a new chair that turned crap VERY quickly, so maybe that made me more irate.
@@Ndlanding I can understand your frustration looking for some advice and then you come to my little video. It sucks having a new chair only to be annoyed by something that should not happen. Again, the lithium helped my issue and I hope it helps yours.
