Nice idea mate, just one thing though; you really shouldn't be shaving the neck line up all the way to the jaw line...It looks ok with much shorter stubble (especially when patchy). But when filled it in highlights it, you should be going up to about an inch or so above the adam's apple and no more; this will give the impression of a better beard coverage but also a 'full beard' as opposed to a "face beard". Just give it a try as it makes it look much better in my own patchy beard experience. Would love to also see what you got if you left it for say an month or 2 to see how it actually grows out? Have a look at Beardbrand's page as they're big on patchy beards and letting them grow out lately.

I personally use mascara....apply it to some type of applicator....I used a piece of a window mount airconditioning unit air filter as its spongey and has tiny perforated holes then I dab it on sparse areas on my beard to make it appear more dense and full. My hair is pretty well black so it works like a charm

For those of us with blond beards, eyebrow maker isn't usable to fill in patches/sparse areas. And, my eyebrows are so blond, they blend into my skin aren't visible if you're looking at me a distance of a metre or more.

Thanks bro it worked great! I had problem with my mustache because they were always brighter and thiner then the rest of my beard, and with this trick it made them look extra full and blended them perfectly into my beard !

I'm looking for down to earth, no bullshit people who don't do everything just because it's sponsored. A bit like you. I like Ali Gordon's style and way of presenting for example, but if it isn't sponsored he isn't doing it.

Hey Robin, just wanted to say that the makeup is quite impressive! However, there is a solution for real hair growth and it's called minoxidil, the active ingredient found in Rogaine. I used it about 10 years ago and saw great results. I just started it up again and it still works! I'm in the US and they sell off-brand Rogaine for about half the price at Wal-Mart and CVS. I paid $30 for a 3 month supply, but since it only takes about half the dosage to cover my beard, it should last about 6. The foam is much easier to apply and measure out. Happy bearding everyone!

You should't shave right up to the jawline. Rule of thumb is two figures space between your adams apple and where your facial hair should end

I'll admit that I was a bit skeptical and almost didn't purchase this (it's $19.99 on Amazon), but OH MY GOSH. This works SO well. I could barely believe my own reflection after I did this last night, because it looked completely natural, AND there was a noticeable difference in how my facial hair looked. I'm a trans guy and I've been on testosterone for about a year and a half, and my facial hair does mostly connect around the jawline. But I would get very self conscious about an area in the middle of the bottom of my chin, and a slightly thinner area of hair on my left side. But it made it SO much better. I feel so confident seeing the difference. I used to only let it grow out a tiny bit and then I would shave it because I felt like it looked awkward, but now I'm excited to have it grow out more. I don't understand how, but this stuff is like magic. (I'm not incredibly well-versed in makeup other than eyeliner though lol so I'm sure it's no surprise to those who use it for its original purpose of filling in brows-- I've always had giant black eyebrows that require waxng and plucking unless I want a unibrow, so that was never an area I needed to dabble in).
