Mustang Window Support Brace Kit.
Restore the alignment and function of your 1994-2004 Mustang door windows with this window support brace kit! Inside the door on your SN95 or New Edge Mustang, there is an adhesive that holds your window to three support brackets on each side. This adhesive deteriorates which causes the glass to fall out of place from these brackets. When this happens it will allow your door glass to pivot and can cause your window not to stay in its respective channel. Late Model Restoration came up with a way to resolve this issue by mounting a support brace to the support brackets ensuring your window stays in alignment permanently!

Featuring two braces constructed with durable steel, your windows will be secured in place for years to come. These steel braces have pre-drilled holes that align perfectly with your three existing window brackets. These lmr brackets are a good idea for holding those factory window brackets in place. After installing these myself I have to say it will actually be in your favor have either brackets C or B come off (preferably bracket C like in the video). Will be easier to line up holes 3-8 if one of those brackets is attached to the lmr bracket before placing into the large door opening. If all the factory brackets are still in place it would be hit or miss on if all of holes 3-8 on lmr bracket will line up with the positions of holes on factory brackets. The pointed screws provided may or may not save you in this instance. I also used two 1/2" long 6-32 bolts and locking nuts for the elongated slots for bracket A. In closing, if one of the factory brackets came loose and falls off inside the door then I'll say using one of these lmr support brackets will be very helpful with putting everything back into place without removing the window from door. If the brackets are all still in place and everything is functioning as it should then I won't even bother attempting to put on. Battery will drain while doing these so keep that in mind while installing. Hope this helps someone considering these brackets✌.

Do you use the pointed screws when installing lmr bracket to window brackets or still use flat tip ones?

Hi Kris, use the pointed screws if the window bracket holes don't align with the brace's holes.

Honestly I was wondering if there was a way to fix it cause mine is doing it currently and it’s a pain because it’s causing a water leak during washes cause it doesn’t sit right on the seal

Hi Dale, You could buy the materials at a local parts store, but our kit comes with all the individual parts, pre-cut brackets, and templates to make it fit. Check the link in the description for more info.

Hi Robvas, Yes, this does fix the window that is going up too far. This brace connects all 3 brackets that are glued to the glass and keeps the alignment secure and stable. The front bracket is a stop to control the upward limit of the glass when it pulls loose from the glass the glass goes up too far. Restoring that front bracket to its proper position keeps the glass from going too far up.

Yes sir! This is a Real Cobra R! The previous owner appeared to used this car as a driver car so he installed aftermarket speakers.

Hey Scott, you will want to completely install and mock up everything before installing the bracket. Once you get it into place, use the steps in the video to reference and install the new support braces.

It wouldn't hurt to add some. We do not recommend too much since a lot isn't needed.

Yes , having the glass out would make installing the brace to the brackets, easier. But Removing the glass from the door seems harder than just installing the brace with the glass in the door. You choose.
