I liked your analysis of the problem and coming up with a solution. Many consumer appliances have such built in design faults. It requies to expose such things. Kudos to you.
Thank you so much. I'm glad you found it useful. Feel free to check out my other videos as well and do subscribe to my channel it helps to keep me motivated and create more content.
I'm glad it did work out for you. This method may need maintenance after 6-7 months. You can try using metal washer rings instead of cable tie for more permanent solution, but it may damage the plastic.
Do not put any Lithium White Grease on the rod. It will become very stiff and sticky in time until the spring cannot function freely. When the spring doesn’t function freely the computer detects it and stops the machine from spinning. There is NOTHING wrong with your rods or springs. Just use regular bearing grease on it and you will get years of trouble free service from them.
The fix lasted a good 8 months after which one of the nylon ties broke apart and slowly and steadily due to imbalance the rest gave way too. I simply used fresh nylon ties again and it's going great for quite some time now. The other alternative is to replace the entire rod set but that's not going to last beyond a couple of years on regular daily use too. This issue arises due to unbalanced loading of clothes in the first place resulting in some of the rods wearing out earlier than others. I watched some videos of repair personnel but yours gives insight into what really goes wrong explaining that the gaps become too big. Thanks, very good explaining
I'm glad i got a solution for you to try out! Do let me know how it turns out going forward. And don't forget to distribute clothes weight evenly prior to spin cycle. If you found this video useful, please do subscribe.
Yes it is! It does last about 3-4 months on regular use. A lot depends on clothes weight distribution. You can always purchase new part which will cost a significant percentage of your depreciated appliance value or new appliances which is over kill and is like buying a new house because your light bulb stopped working. At the very core it's more about planned obsolescence or bad part design. I observed having rubber rolls secured by cable ties make this solution last much longer but again weight distribution of clothes is key.
@@Live_Loud i see new machines with active weight distribution monitoring system. It alerts you if there is an imbalance and/corrects for the imbalance. Just leads to more complicated system.
Great insight of a planned faulty design, I guess a small o ring within the plastic body should be able to stop the grease leaking out but was never designed for one.
I have ifb topload shockers bushes are same but the springs colors tow of them gold and two of them steel...which color spring has install front and back side..pls rwply me.
Unfortunately I do not have a answer for this, please try to remember which spring was in which position at time of opening or else refer to the user manual for information if any
Mine LG TOP LOADING WASHING MACHINE...drum banging either side .. on start of SPIN MODE...and changing to Rinse and spin mode again .. Even upon changing .mthe four suspension spring ..blue and white ..no improvement.....pls guide ..what else can be problem... drum banging to sides ..and cloths are bundleing to one side drum is banging to sides...
Best solution is to replace the dampner rod, u can new in shop or on Amazon for 1500rs. If you don't want to replace the rod then at the start of the cycle make sure the clothes are not entangled and the weight is evenly distributed. If your washing has low spin mode then that would help too.
Hai brother, can you please help me, samsung fully automatic washing machine top load, stainless steel drum can we remove, steel had a rust, so how much price to replace steel drum, 7.5kg
Im not sure about the price but it will definitely be high, you can buy a new machine instead. You can get semi automatic from 6k₹ and fully automatic from 10k₹
Standard, 6 inch nylon cable ties. You can ask in your hardware store buying many together is cheaper. Please do subscribe to my channel if you found the video useful.
I have 7kg IFB top load and I want shoker to replace.. What is diff between company and local market...Have you give me the address for buying this.. Contact also please..
Bro...i have ifb topload..new rods are installed stiil it is banging like anything...pls tell me the roda are having gold and silver color... which color has to install front and rear side.
Mucha retórica eso es para técnicos. No.para otras personas. Los dueños.de.lavadoras no saben esto se manualidades o.sea mecanica de banco. Manualidades?????
7:41 I have the same problem with the my washer mostly sounds like halicopter during the spinning cycle, how much tight is it going to be to achieve good result? Thanks for sharing the idea
Logic board me problem ho sakti hai ya fir water intake valve me. Valve me problem hoga toh tode saste me repair hoga. Logic board ka repair mahenga padega. 3k se zyada bole toh naya machine mena consider karo
OK, you can replace the parts but there is a secret that most dont know. That is that the tube is missing that would provide dampening. Friction is not a good dampening element because it changes and with wear, very little friction exists so it needs the external cylinder.
I agree with what you said. Frictional dampening is a short term solution. Its just another example of planned obsolescence. Makes me feel sad that millions of units like these will be discarded just because of this bad design. Imagine so many otherwise perfectly fine machines being decommissioned.
No this won't last beyond 6 months after that u may have to do it again. Permanent solution is to get new dampner rods. It's available on Amazon for 1.5k rs.
Its not a regular grease, its sticky.i see it every where every store in my city and no body knowed.so i try to use Mouse Glue. And it works, but not permanent.
@@TheDonjovi whit thing that you are referring to is actually, glue to connect plastic pipes for leakage, it has nothing to do with rod suspension. You explanations is absolutely in correct.
Thank you so much for watching my video. Sure do try and let me know how it goes, would love know. Buying an entire new washing machine just because of one part never really made sense to me.
