Using an adjustable wrench wrapped in masking tape to prevent scratching, I loosened the hex bolt on the steam assembly, revealing grime in the threads, which I cleaned with dishwashing soap. After wiping dry, I applied food-safe silicone grease to the assembly. Ensuring a snug fit, I reassembled the knob, tightened the nut, and replaced the logo cap. Now, with the steam wand functioning smoothly, I anticipate more serene mornings making coffee.
