I love how you get to the point and not have to tell us your life story before you show us what we want to know. Thank you so much for this video, it sure did help a lot.
Bro your the fuxkin man! Quick and simple. No fancy music no Bull shit right to the point. I love ppl like you. Keep up the good work man, we need more ppl like you
Kid (... and I use the term with total appreciation and respect) you taught a 62 year old man something today. Can't wait til you become the new host on This Old House!
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I just moved into a new house with four doors and none of them would prop open making moving in a nightmare. They all work now!
geddemn such an easy fix for a very frustrating problem. i am now finally able to keep mine open when i want to. this video alone is worthy of a sub. i applaud you for getting straight to the point. thank you.
Terrific! I was trying to fix my porch storm door, Googled this, it was the first thing I clicked on, and within 60 seconds I fixed my problem. Danke schoen!
THANK YOU! I have been in a daily rage at my door for years. This super simple fix took just minutes to do (including finding the right tools in the shed) and worked a treat. So grateful 🙏🏼
Thank you Ben!!! A simple 2 second effective remedy. I was so stressed thinking to had to change the whole door closer...but that ingenious simple adjustment was all it needed. Soooooo grateful!
Thank you Ben! I ride a bike and I'm getting older and this saves me a lot of trouble trying to hold the door open and get the bike through without scraping somewhere.
Thank you!! I lost mine and ordered a new one online that was actually too small. So after making the little hole bigger it just didn't work, but your hack fixed it. Thanks so much!
thank you times a thousand! one of the few times I bing something, it takes me to a video exactly what i was looking for, and the problem is solved! I will forever subscribe to people like you - thank you for making a clear, concise, useful video!!
I know this is an oldy, but I just found it. (Don't you just love You Tube for figuring stuff out?!) I did not need to crimp the screen door stopper after all, as I discovered it was installed backwards! I might not have caught that without this video, so I appreciate the info. Reversing it made it work fine.
OMG thank you. It has been driving me nuts for years and I was trying to find what part I need to buy to fix this. Got a smaller plier and thick metal one like you, but it did bend a bit still because it is way better now.
I have been looking for a solution to this same problem I have with our front door screen door for almost 2 years now, I'm going to try this out, what size wrench did you use in this video? I see different sizes online so I want to know which one to buy.
Maybe you can help wth this? The same piece you fixed keeps jumping from its resting position over towards the spot where it keeps the door from closing all the. Thanks for any ideas
If you don't have a pair of pliers handy, put a penny between the holding tab and the pneumatic closer. The penny will help wedge it still. Note: if you push the door open, the penny will fall out. This is a short, very short term solution.
