I know this is an oldy, but I just found it. (Don't you just love You Tube for figuring stuff out?!) I did not need to crimp the screen door stopper after all, as I discovered it was installed backwards! I might not have caught that without this video, so I appreciate the info. Reversing it made it work fine.

Had to look for another, mine doesn't have that. Mine has a button you press onto the hydraulic thing. 😢 But, thanks for this video.

If you don't have a pair of pliers handy, put a penny between the holding tab and the pneumatic closer. The penny will help wedge it still. Note: if you push the door open, the penny will fall out. This is a short, very short term solution.

What can you do if the hook part is broken?

My freaking cousin was messing with the screen door. And idk how to close it back its stuck open. So any suggestions on how to close it.

Put a couple of coins in the gap solves the problem
