Did i miss the part where you mentioned grounding the box in a clockwise loop. Also a good idea to put a note or tape over the breaker indicating work is being done.
I really wish they allowed charging via 110v when running the 220V output. Charging via my Honda 2200w genny in an extended grid-down situation would have been nice. Instead, I will have to get 120v to 60vDC converters, lose efficiency, and charge via the XT60 ports.
I'm so fucking confused. If you want to make your generator a floating neutral generator. I don't know what the hell that is or what it means. I bought a generator and there's a wire that goes from part of the generator to another part of the generator. The part that it goes to the manual says that's the ground so I don't know what the fuck I'm doing. I will not be hooking this up to anything to run an entire building or whatever I am going to have extension cords plugged into my generator if the power goes out. In such a situation what do I need to do or what do I need to know do I need to disconnect that wire or take it off or hook it up to some copper metal rod that's in the ground to plug extension cords into my generator I don't understand
My truck's ac blows cold but barely to the point that I have to drive with my hands on the actual ac vents in order to cool myself down. The problem is that everything in my ac system is new, except the evaporator, all other parts have been replaced. My pressures show normal low side but high high side but in my case the orifice tube is new and shouldn't be clogged at all. What else can be the problem? Thanks!
Evaporator core plugged. When the AC is running. The evaporator core will develop condensation. That's why it has a drain. Because of the condensation, if there is any dirt. That's cakes up the evaporator core.
I just install the exact same system x2 f3800 and two extended batteries with the power panel it works great..I had a power wall at my last property and it killed me not taking it with me when I moved. With this unit I can take it with me if I decide to move again
How did you program the Home Power Panel App so you get automatic discharge to your home during Peak time with Grid OFF then recharge the F3800 etc as soon as Off Peak begins with Grid switching back on? I can’t figure out how to do it without daily reprogramming the Manual Backup Power? Do you leave the Manual Backup power switch OFF? When I turn mine OFF the F3800 and expansion battery starts discharging along with the grid into the house. So I lose Battery Power during Off Peak and there’s no way to stop the F3800 from discharging into the home DURING OFF PEAK TIME.
@@FutureMedia you have to use the TOU/time of use option your able to adjust down to the hour. I have mine set to start backing up the house at 4:00pm and it runs till 7:00am after that my rooftop solar charges the battery to 100% and the cycle starts over.
Better to see how much heat producing this power station and how fast thermal paste is drying on semiconductors. I think after 10 kilowatts thermal pads lost their layer thickness and thermal paste begin to boil.
I recently installed a mini split, but couldn't manage to get decent flares using a difficult to use cheap flare set recommended in the video I was following. Thank you so much for making this excellent guide and highlighting the costly but far more effective pro tools. This would have saved me time and money in the long run.
The real problem with this Anker model is it isn’t for continuous off grid backup, as the solar input limit is just too small to make a difference! I would go with Victron, Apollo instead!
I do get what you mean. Would be sweet if they are able to update the system to allow for a more substantial off-grid input. Maybe they could incorporate this into a redesigned Home Power Panel.
@@BenjaminSahlstrom The whole reason I went with Victron was because I could grow it at any speed I wanted to, didn’t have to have it all upfront. I bought one charge controller and now I have three.
I'm curious about how to power an enclosed trailer for racing purposes? And how well this stuff would hold up going down the highway? Would be cool not to use a noisy gas generator!
I just ordered a two-unit setup + 2 batteries with the home panel as well. I also have 1200w of solar I can direct connect to it. I would like to know if I have to split that 1200 watts and plug 600w into each or if I can plug 1200w into the first unit and have it share the solar with the second unit.

A very valuable addition to any well pump system is an electric light bulb placed somewhere outside the well house that comes on when the pump turns on. I just use a 14-2 romex feeding the exterior rated light fixture. I connect one of the 14-2 wires inside the pressure switch to one of the two pump/load terminals and the other simply grounded to one of the ground screws of the pressure switch housing. At the light fixturre, just connect the two wires as usual. Now, any time the pump comes on, there's a visual alert that can be seen from anywhere outside the well house as long as the pump is running.
I know this is old, but it saved me thousands. My ac unit kept blowing the 3 amp fuse on the board, I had checked every wire, thermostat, grounds, and couldn’t figure out what was going on. I watched a video that showed to check the ohms from the sides of the contactor. I checked and mine was only at 1.9 ohms. The video I watched said it should be over 17 up to 20 something. I ordered the $15 part reluctant that it was going to work. Well I switched it and the ac works great!!! These videos are money savers. Thank you for posting this video!!! Hope this helps someone
The best video about this subject by far .. thank you ... if you could please tell me why the 2 new lower thermostat I bought in 2 different stores, 2 different brands, they don't click like the upper one when moving the scale and they are in the closed position ( this is without installing it, on the bench).. thank you
