TYVM brother! Literally changed my bulbs as I watch this. The only reason it took me a little longer is because I didn’t fully listen to the you have to push and turn the bulb to get them out 😂

Thanks for the video - those 3 plastic tabs are a biatch. Not a great design... too easy to break those damn tabs, esp given the plastic is extremely stiff. I used plastic trim removers to lever the panel up as it was a bit stuck. Anyone else attempting this, be careful when you take those two nuts off that you don't drop them, #2 be careful not to scratch the lens on anything, #3 be very careful with those plastic tabs and work slowly, don't rush it, and #4 just replace both bulbs when you're in there since the lens cover is expensive and the bulbs on Amazon are relatively cheap.

For a 2006 GTI Mk V it’s a 13 mm socket, otherwise all good, I just changed my bulbs.

Do you know what is the make/model of rear turn signal light bulb?

PS: I did all the tabs, only with my fingers. No screwdriver, prevent breakage.

I replaced my taillights all four bulbs, the break lights and turn signal work fine but the running lights won't turn on? What could the issue be?
