A follow-up video of this re arrangement of panels is needed. If budget permits, please advise the owner to have more panels placed on the carport as well, it will improve generation later in the day. From your comment it seams you split the panels into 12 and 6 arrangements on different planes, hope you used different charge controllers for each groups.
Yeah, those remaining 6 panels would be setting the other ones back in the afternoon especially if they are connected in series. I think it would be better to put all panels on the sunset side of the roof. Sun is higher in the afternoon and evening. Also energy demand of the house is lower in the morning.
Thats the problem with all this send down the rain roof(steepy). The sun will be on this side today, next 6 month it has change orientation. Flat(almost) roofs are the best for solar. The best solution is to add more panels to augment changes in the sun orientation throughout the year
Either you hang the Inverter, or it's placed on the rack, the fan doesn't come up until the load increases up to 60%. The fan comes up when the heat sensor senses enough loads and heat. The real problem was the orientation of the Solar panels Welldone
The fan got bad because of the moisture from the tubular batteries, that kind of power from solar would cause the batteries to gas.. it shouldn't be directly under the batteries. Good job Mr ikenna.
Mr. Ikenna! I laughed so hard when I saw a wall-mount inverter being placed carelessly on the battery rack without properly insulating the inverter from iron battery rack. Well done sir for the job correction.
If you have a back yard or front yard that has a whole day access from the sun pls dont install your solar panel on the roof So you can easily clean the solar panels But if you have concrete flat roof top that is the best choice to install your solar panel Installing solar panel on the roof The solar panel gets very hot And that is bad cause the heat will Decrease the harvest of the solar panel
Any system above 5kva should definitely use lithium batteries and minimum of 550w panels. The customer definitely cheaped out on the installation. Looks like they run down the batteries with AC
I am not a solar technician, but I baffle at the ignorance and carelessness of our so-called technicians on someone's multimillion investment. What would it have taken the to mount that inverter on the wall? I had this same panel installation problem, where the stupid technician carelessly installed the panels on the sunrise part of the roof. I had to call them back to relocate it to the opposite side. Please technicians should go learn their work. Also, if those batteries were draining everyday, I wonder what life would be left in them. Even tubular batteries hate being drained.
You will get more support if this video includes the wiring process. I think a lot of people would gain more value from the video if that was the case.
