Thanks,helped me a lot.After installation win10,couldnt get access to logical disc on another hdd,now all works--I can have access and see all files,but all files and folders kind of "locked".Question: How can I have access to straight away to ALL files and folders,NOT editing each file --->properties--->security--->eidt---->add--->select users and group....etc... Thank you it seemed to helped, i was having a problem with a virtual CD or .ISO image and i realized if its mounted as a CD then i cant change permission so i just un-zip'd it and then it worked perfectly.

I have been trying to remove Comodo from my Laptop for months, nothing would remove it includeing Revo etc. It appeared that somehow the Uninstall file was missing no matter what i tried it would not uninstall. hello, i need your help!! so i did everything you instructed up til 2:29, and it worked, but do i still have to add my user account to the administrators group? because when i tried deleting it after i did everything you instructed up til 2:29, i still needed permission from my own user account. also, when i tried to add my user account to the administrators group, i couldn't find any folder that said "Local Users & Groups" pls Help!!

Tried all your advices. But somehow i can't seem to delete my Dropbox folder (locally on my pc) while i fuilly reinstalled my pc as imergancy and it has no dropbox installed now. It's jsut hte folder with all data locally saved in it.

if l take ownership of system image will it still be usable by the startup repair disk, why l ask its properties says its zero bytes but l cant see if there is any files in it access denied but l am sure there is as the drive has 80 gb less and l only have 2 system image files there

I have a single folder with many files that will not stay ope. Double clicking or clicking on open option causes it to open very briefly, but then screen will quickly flash and immediately go back to desktop display, while folder contents will not become accessible and folder refuses to completely stay open at all. Also, same problem if copy and move to any other location and changing folder name does not correct issue either, As well, if right click for folder properties, same thing happens . . . closes and goes back to desktop display. Have also reinstalled Windows 10 with all updates . . . still not fixed. HELP, PLEASE ??????

This is a good video. I am wondering what to do about some of my folders and files that came from previous versions of windows. In my case I came from WinXP then went to Win 7 then to Win 10 and 2 computers (I just cloned and migrated over to an SSD and put it into a brand new computer I built) so I have files and folders from prev window versions and previous computer. So I would like to take ownership of all my files and folders and remove all the old administrators and users but I am not sure exactly how to do this without messing up my computer.

I have no "Local Users and Groups" in my computer management and how do i know if the acc im using is the admin or not?

To my specific file that I managed to see it with an tool cuz actually is hidden I don't even have access for the security ("...can't be desplayed...")

I would like you to do a video on how to get Win 10 to talk to other Win 10 machines over the network, if I want to copy folders that I have created in Documents on one computer to another Document folder in the other computer it will not allow it. I got a error when I clicked apply after replace owner. I got this error " Error Applying Security"
