How to Fix Analog Drift Using DS4Windows (Dead Zone Method) [PC ONLY] 

i bought mine for 80 euro and after a year i now get this drift shit

remember sony launch dualsense edge with replaceable analog, knowing the controller might have that problem.

can this work on right thumbstick

Hey yeah, i think i had the same problem with you, my cursor wont stop wiggling everytime i plugged in my ds4, do you know how to fix that, it's so frustrating

@@bagaskara_vi1572 When you have ds4 on and your controller plugged in, go to edit in the Controller tab. From there go to controller readings in the left window, here you'll of course see that your SixAxis and/or touchpad is acting up. (Although some people I saw when figurin this out said that one of the joysticks was the problem, hopefully not for you.) With the Reading window open, look to the right window, make sure the axis config tab is selected, and scroll all the way down so that you can see your 6 axis settings. If this axis is suffering from drift, adjust your settings accordingly (I'd do it anyway because I had my mouse goin all over the place whenever I moved) If the problem still persists then the problem lies with your touchpad...hopefully... To remedy this, go to the touchpad tab in the right window. select Passthru as the output mode and apply the setting. If this still does not fix your problem, then press and hold the center of the touchpad and the PS button. At this point your problem should be solved. If it isn't, I haven't a clue of how to help. I also don't know if it matters that the center of the pad be pressed, that's just what I always do. My main issue is that my controller is an after market one and it came with one heck of a squirrely touchpad, the slightest bump would make it suffer complete breakdown. One more thing though, if (like me) you cant even use you mouse when the controller is plugged in, then simply hold your finger on the touchpad (moderate pressure, not enough to click though) and you should be able to use your mouse normally. Anyway, I hope this monster of a text wall helps dude, happy gaming :D

That’s because the default deadzone of ds4 is 0,00, try 0,10

Its a problem ds4 has. When I connect the controller without ds4windows theres no drift

Connect the controller to the ps4 (USB) and press the ps-button.

I would just buy a new controller before paying a monthly subscription to keep my broken controller working properly.

at that point just set it to zero and use the windows setting, unless you want to set it per-gun

Yes that’s normal. The six axis X is the accelerometer in your controller. It detects the orientation or rotation of the controller. If you late the controller flat on the cable then it should stop moving.
