Water stains are a common issue for those with cloth seats. The excess moisture can cause ugly looking rings that ruin the look of your vehicle. Fortunately, these stains are usually simple to remove, and with the right products, tools and technique, they can be fixed in just a few minutes.
For safe and fast removal, we'll be using our Oxy Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner. This is a peroxide-based cleaner that excels at removing a wide variety of dirt and tannin stains from cloth and carpet.

My truck has these stains on the seats from a water bottle leaking...I couldn't believe water would stain my seats like this!! My thinking was if water gets on my clothes it just dries and goes away but not with car upholstery for some reason..gonna have to get your product now ,thanks

Water can be such a pain! The foam in our car interiors will soak up water, creating actual staining and sometimes even mold and mildew buildup. An Xtraxtor machine would be your best bet at tackling these issues in the future and for removing remaining liquid or cleaner so it doesn't seep into the foam.

Dollar Tree sells a product called Awesome, is as good as its name. I would once done, I know have kids, use unscented baking soda, gently pour it over the seat, let it absorb the left over water after it has been cleaned. I have used also baby powder. My kids use to make a mess on the vehicle back seats, and their bed, usinf baking soda and baby powder helps a lot. You can mix the Awesome with Simple Green, great results at a fraction of the cost.

I like your video on water stains. My car seats are easily stained, even with raindrops. I will try your recommendations. Also I have 2 glue spots on my passenger seat. How can I get rid of those?

Hi Susan, for the glue spots we would recommend either Spray Citra Clean or Instant Out spot and stain remover aerosols with a microfiber towel to remove those spots. It would help to understand what type of glue it is, but either one of those would be our go to.
