This video will show how to fix and take apart the Arcade1up joystick step by step. Hope you all enjoy this video and please leave a comment if this may help or have any questions.
Old video, but is this the only issue with the 1Up joystick? or is there also allot of lag with the micro switches?? Everyone says to "buy a SANWA" and that'll fix it.
I have a robotron arcade game. The left joystick sometimes gets stuck and won't move in the left direction. I'm getting a new joystick mailed out to me but any input as to why this could be happening would be great.
Depending on how much the game has been played could be the result on why it may not be working. The contact points could be worn or it could possibly be a loose wire in the joystick going to the board. Did your joystick have lots of slack?
@@PatsVlogsVideos the game is new. It was built new, all parts. Its a week old. It feels like it has normal slack. I tried to push in the contact pins but no luck. And the issue seems like its getting worse. At first it was the right joystick that had the same issue shooting left. Now its the left joystick that has issues moving left. I'm thinking grounding problem or loose connection?
@@TheTubeMeister In the video I used a washer bc I had too much slack with the joystick. I had some problems while I played the game but once I put the washer in it worked a lot better but it definitely sounds like there may be a loose connection.
I have this video game for some reason one day it just wouldn’t let me get past selecting a game, I can select he game but it will not let me select players do you know why?
Yes I'm aware that I have forgotten to tell yall how big the washer is. When I'm able to get some time to visit my uncle I will be sure to give everyone an update on the washer. Thank you for watching my video.
