Good video. Exactly the same with my 2015 S5. After 7 years, both clips broke within days of each other despite heavier use on driver side. I've watched a couple different versions of this repair, and they all make it look easy to remove the bracket cap (the 1st step). Both of mine were very difficult to remove, very tight, and I was afraid I was damaging the headliner. Luckily both eventually snapped out with no damage, one almost explosively taking the bracket with it and a loud snap. "Driven Companion" does a good job here showing how to work around the edges. Eventually I just kept prying in the same direction until the small screwdriver was about 45° from horizontal, and then they finally popped out. I ordered my replacement parts, both the bracket and cap, from the dealer and picked up there at Parts Department. Took only 2 or 3 days to come in. Thanks, your video made the repair simple! I would recommend using plastic tools wherever possible to minimise the possibility of scratching/tearing parts of the interior
Don't feel bad. I've had to replace countless visor clips especially during the summer. I was going to the junkyard to get them but now I just simply order them off eBay
