As an Audi tech, please don't buy this tool. We've now had three customers use this on their cars and fuck control modules up and then complain that none of the repairs were covered. Just because you change one module doesn't mean that it isn't going to have an effect on other modules that need to communicate with whatever you just changed.

For 700 credits you can unlock the driver toilet seat mode. It opens up the seat with a suction tube so you can pinch a loaf while driving down the highway. ECS sells a CARBON FIBER debris shield so rocks and salt from the road don't accidently........you know... give you ROAD RASH ASS. Excellent vid!!!!

2 years and a little more info later, and I’ve just ordered one for my current car. Credits actually makes more sense than subscription on other units, and as pointed out, long coding is free to use, only the single-tap-changes cost credits

Mirror dip comes with all the Audi s3 since 2015. You need to turn the switch the to direction L or R and when u go reverse it will go down.

I don’t own a VW or Audi but that is pretty sweet. A little confusing about the credits, so its a “free” app then you pay for the OBD2 connector then pay for credits after your first 200 “free” ones? That seems dumb since the user already bought the connector, either charge more for the unit, or charge for the app, silly to have to pay for credits...this isn’t a mobile game!

OBDeleven Car Diagnostics it’s not a mobile game, the user already purchased the product and now are tied to watching videos and being limited on credits a day. It’d be one thing if the device was free but it’s not, sounds greedy to me.

Will read codes that lock ignition if ur battery went dead, for instance. Lights come on but won't start even with new batt. I would hate to have it towed to a shop and pay them to plug it in reset the code and charge me a buttload of money

Hey Blake. Looks like you made the same mistake I did when reviewing this unit, the obdeleven device doesn't come with 200 credits. Just our media review units did. I've asked obdeleven to make a bundle that includes at least one hundred credits with the hardware. Also the keyring version doesn't include a PRO code, that's also a separate purchase to be able to do the long coding manually without using their apps/credit system.

They are but you have to remember the idea behind it is you have more than enough to do on your own vehicle they don’t want you going out and doing 15 peoples cars of the same manufacturer just because they’re your “friends”. So I would say yeah, it would be scummy. If every time you used it you had to buy credits, but it’s not at all like that you have more than enough.

Does it help with swapping a battery out? Audi has it so we have to do it at the dealership so they can program that it is a new one. If not the system shuts down thinking it has a dead battery even if it is new.

Several Audi models have a timing chain tensioner problem that can cause the timing chain to slip and cause catastrophic engine failure leading to engine replacement. My 2010 Audi A5 2.0 TFSI engine failed due to this problem and I had to have a new engine put in. Audi is currently going through a Class Action Lawsuit for this Timing Chain Tensioner problem that they should recall. benocehcap 1. Dsg is superior to a manual transmission in every aspect, no it’s not as fun as smashing a clutch, but I’d rather have a superior transmission. 2. Audi doesn’t make manual transmissions anymore, like most super/hyper cars, they are dsg/dct only, for a reason. Lol.

Be careful with this device, I bought one and virtually everything it enables was already activated on my car, the main thing I wanted on my 2018 S5 was the G force meter which the devices activates, what they don’t tell you is that it doesn’t work because the car doesn’t have the hardware fitted for the Gforce meter! Personally I found the device a waste of money, but I guess if the car isn’t very well specked then the device might well activate some nice features.

Like I’ve said my car didn’t have it. It’s a premium plus not prestige. Older Audi’s has it but I assume because the A3/S3 is the entry model of Audi’s line up they made it an option. Some have it some don’t. This will unlock that and reprogram the module to make it work.

I said this before and I'll say it again. be careful with this app. I voided my warranty as it relates to the MMI system. The screen will randomly shit off and Audi said they won't touch it since I fucked around with it with this app.

Most of a4 b9 cars comes with apple carplay and android auto. But there's some of them that doesn't and those are the one with only 1 USB port. If you alhave 1 port, you will need to get the whole apple carplay unit and get it installed

So I am at the Audi dealership right now and they informed me taht no you can not enable mirror dip if the car does not come with that option. All the newer s3 have it. There is a video on the audi website on how that's enabled. In my 2019 Audi A3 Premium Plus that was never an option and it can not be programmed, only the prestige models with technology package have it on the A3 series.
