This is absolutely one of the best descriptions of proper throwing mechanics. I'm going to get my daughter your course as a birthday gift. She is turning 9 but following your courses will set her future up!
i have a softball game tomorrow and my throw is pretty bad, it's never far enough... but i'm watching your very informative videos, and I'll try to apply your advice in game and during practice
8:38 - I coach 8u and 10u softball. I sometimes say “we don’t want to throw like a toddler”. That seems to get their attention as a motivator. I think it’s a good variation that’s really only offensive to toddlers, who can’t understand it anyway.
I’m a softball player, first year, im already decently old enough to where alot of the players on my team can throw extremely far, hard, and hit well, so being a first year playing with older more experienced players is hard, I’m looking to play SS and pitcher in the future which I’m practicing for now as a RF, any tips on throwing accurately other then this ? I have a bad habit of curving over my head and throwing flat footed. When I first started I had no arm strength but decently accurate, now, I’m pretty strong and can make some pretty far throws but am losing my accuracy. I’m also lefty so hoping to throw off some righty batters, huge dodger fan and looking for some softball tips on accuracy thanks!! 😊
