Can the battery cause the black screen? Actually I replaced mine recently and after that whenever my phone is idle and I try to unlock it black screen comes on with the lcds light lit. Then when I restart it the display comes back. It's has been repetitive over and over again

Ohh my! Well I have a black screen to moths ago and I can't open my mom thinks it's very low but but me. Don't understand because I just charged and I see it's 98% so I cried alot at that night my brother said I think is the screen protector let's remove. Me: no way that's new and I don't know what to do just to cry. Tomorrow morning my mom open my phone and it's opening she call and she said it's working. I'm very happy.

I got the black screen of doom and I didnt know if my phone was charging. I did a hard reset while the phone was charging and the light went off then on again but the phone still was black. Took to a repair guy to replace the battery and still a black screen. I was thinking its a software or hardware issue or the motherboard. Repair guy is doing everything he can to save my phone but I fear its dead for good. UGH hope u can maybe help me

Hi Smrity! Mine is a Samsung 8. Went to two phone shops and they said the LCD screen was burned out... would this procedure still fix it if they are right? If not, any other suggestions? They were going to charge $250 to $300 to fix and they would not guarantee me that everything would be saved. Why I bought a new phone instead, but want my pictures.. phone is password protected.

My device is a samsung galaxy s21 plus. Yesterday while i was playing a game my screen suddenly became black. I did a force restart and it still didn't work. I contacted the samsung call center and they also said if the screen became black without falling or having a damage then it would most likely work if i remove the battery and insert it again but they're not sure about that. Open your phone check display connector, Clean connector , Re-connect and power on.
