How to fix black splash screen upon startup after fresh install of DaVinci Resolve. 

Yeah, so I just installed DaVinci Resolve on a Ubuntu Linux system and when I tried to run it, there was just a black box in place of the splash screen.
All I had to do to "resolve" this problem was to just restart my computer, and then I started DaVinci resolve again and it started up normally.
