I came here for exactly the same question. I was hoping audacity would have some form of "markers" that would be exported with the exported audio clips as an xml or timeline based file that we would then be able to use to remove the corresponding video for....anyways, thanks for the good explanation of this tool :)
Is there a way for it to splice and export each individually for the silent spots? I need a function like this to save me a lot of grief. Any tips would be great!
How can you truncate only the beginning and the end? When I truncate a song, something weird happens. It compresses the entire song. I'm using Default Settings.
While exporting Truncated audio file in mp3/wav mode. The exported audio is no longer truncated. It is still original audio which has too many silence. I tried everything but doesn't got my solution. Can you help me out.
