I've got that BT USB and Archer T9E WiFi adapter from TP-Link and it works out of the box! no extra EFI configuration ;) BTW You've got new subscriber.

I always recommend strictly only components I personally tested and verified so I can guarantee 100% functionality. I never recommend anything I never tested personally and I never tested any "bt500". I can't buy all possible components on planet and finance everything from my own pocket. I'm not a millionaire

Hey, I wanted to ask you something. I have an PCI-E extension card for those laptop SSD's and I also have an MacBook Pro (probably 2013) AirCard. Do you have any experiences with using those AirCard's on a PC via an PCI-E extension card? Btw. My hackintosh (or as I call it "Mac mATX") runs on MacOS Catalina

don't forget Apple is dropping support periodically for certain old mac hardware so does not matter you have original airport card - it may not work at all in latest macOS. That card would probably work in older macOS on which this card was last supported by Apple

@@MorgonautHackintosh Since I've been following your videos for a while, I know you don't recommend this. But there are no problems at all if you have Windows installed on a separate hard drive. Since opencore Bootstrap, Windows no longer writes itself in the boot sequence. Anyway, my question was rather whether the Bluetooth dongle can also establish a connection to a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse in the GUI of a bootloader such as opencore or Clover?

Does not matter if you have it on different disk or not - you will loose it one day! = your problem. so you have some interference on your location probably. If that would not work at all then it would not connect at all but your connects

The Asus USB-BT400 adapter work nicely on USB 2.0 on a Hackintosh with OpenCore and BigSur. I can connect the Microsoft Sculpt Comfort mouse and the Mi Compact Bluetooth Speaker 2, but I cannot connect the Huawei Swift CD20 mouse...

l have an issue with a original 2013 iMac where recently started to connect and disconnect my magic mouse and keyboard. Will this really work?, i been using a old Bluetooth dongle I've found and it connect but when the iMac goes to sleep it lost connection and it wont connect until i restart. thanks in advance

as I said here already several times - not everybody wants wifi + bluetooth. There is tons of people who needs only BT and not any wifi. I never use wifi on my workstations as well as majority of my clients. I also never use airdrop etc. because I have better workflow

Great video, awful solution tho. This kind of receivers have poor range. I cannot go as far as 3 meters away from my computer without lossing conection with my headphones. Even with my phone I have better signal. Would be great to have better options, similar in performance to mac computers.

In Monterrey 12.1 This is not working repeat on Monterrey 12.1 Just to let the audience know, I order the exact same USB Dongle and still not having any Bluetooth, Maybe this could be because Apple is no on Bluetooth 5.

This does work its just not plug in play anymore. You need to get the open core bluetooth kexts i think its like 2 are 3 kexts but it definitely work i use it currently with Monterey 12.5.

if you would read comments I answered this already here several times :( It works in Monterey but not well because Monterey and BT is not working well even on real Macs!

No AirDrop, apple watch unlock, handoff and iCloud copy paste support so not exactly a solution... A compatible card would do the trick.

maybe not solution for you specificaly but for tons of others yes. What you want can do only PCie card whcih will block your slot and PCIe lanes = that's what I would call NOT SOLUTION!

@@MorgonautHackintosh Not just me specificaly, they are others in the comments and all over the internet how wish to achieve native support for that services. Nevertheless Asus BT400 offers a native support for bluetooth in MacOS due to BCM20702A which is supported. Thanks for the video and keep it up!
