Thank you so much! I only had to clean the heads once and it's working. My printer is quite new and I hadn't printed many pages, so I was surprised that I needed to do this so soon.

I have a Brother MFC-J870DW and the paper was coming out blank. The cleaning function is located by tapping on the ink icon for this model. I had to clean mine 20+ times, but it worked. Thanks!

Seriously, thank you so much! I’ve tried everything after installing new ink. It’s still spotty, but at least I can see most of the print.

Thanks, I cleaned x3 but it eventually printed. Odd - the printer is almost new and had done perhaps 10 total pages. Probably not a good sign, long term.

@@nyangel515 the ink heads were insanely old and dirty on my printer. I had to go through cleaning an insane amount of times and basically burned through a set of ink cartridges.

@@squeegeemcgee3917 I had bought a used printer but had to clean the print heads like a dozen times using a solvent and syringe kit before it started to work properly. Thanks.
