iOS users! Log out and log back into your DJI account and then enable Airplane Mode.

This usually happens after a firmware update or a DJI Fly app update. ALWAYS check your settings after an update. It causes distance flight limits to 50m and 30m and Max flight distance reached messages.
Some guys have also reported that they need to update each of their batteries before the issue was resolved completely. To do this you must download the correct version of DJI Assistant 2 for your drone and connect your drone to the PC and power it on. Once it's powered on DJI Assistant will detect your drone and do a firmware check. Do this for each of your batteries.

Got one yesterday,& absolutely love it. It confirmed what ,I was thinking. Broke my heart as if. Must of never cared at all. My love was greater,& counted 4 nothing. There was only 1 ,& now there is none. Grrr...

I got the dgi avata recently. Was hyped until i saw it only flies about 0.4 miles out before losing video signal. On RU-vid there are videos of people flying the avata up to 2 miles out. Will tey these tricks to hopefully get farther range

Sorry man, but I think you've got the wrong idea about how signal works... 0.4 miles is actually really good for any drone if your flying in a high interference area or if you don't have good line of sight (no obstacles between the drone and the controller)

@InfinityDrones it must be possible. Like I said there are some on RU-vid that have proven the avata capable of flying a little over 10k ft in distance which is basically 2 miles. But like you said half a mile is pretty neat. Sometimes I just feel like exploring farther with the avata but maybe it's best I don't

@@edgararcega3046 I've been out over 2.7km with my avata. Like I said I think you're misunderstanding how the signal works. They say upto 10km in perfect conditions (which is impossible these days). Imagine you a two way radio and you have nothing between you and the other radio. Your range and quality of messages will be great. But but a tree between you and your range might be 25% of wjat you had before and that's because the tree and it's leaves are full of water which blocks the signal. So you see, just because they they say the drone can do 10km does not mean you will ever be able to.

You can also dump the DJI fly software and use a 3rd party control software.

Yeah, Litchi is a great option. But some of these 3rd party apps still require you to have the dji fly app installed and signed in since they pull data from the dji system.

To resolve it by a different drone, I'm absolutely fed up with this if it's not working it will not fly in restricted fly drone I've had enough, this is spring 2024 when I'm righting this don't need hassle software issue are dji fan base

I recently got DJI MINI 4K. Its range is 10,000 meter. But it hardly goes till 500meter before it loses connection. I know 10000 meter is possible in ideal environment. But still I feel 500m and 10000m is a huge difference. Why is this happening??

So 10km on a mini 4... very unlikely. Where are you located? Are you in FCC country or in CE country? Check dji's website, they list different "best" case range based on FCC or CE. Also, you must have clear line of sight with the drone. If you don't have line of sight to your controller then your range will not be very good. Also, trees etc between you and the drone will kill your range. All this is also not asking how how are you flying, how much intereference are you getting, is this urban or rural, etc. There are sooo many factors in play here. I'd recommned flying in a different area aswell - like a very rural area (like a farm)

@@Rocketman0407 interference is always difficult to give you numbers as every area is different. But in general if you're flying and your getting issues then going higher will solve it

I have an RC pro that was working fine yesterday and today it looks as though I was automatically logged out of the DJI Fly app on the RC Pro yet I was not logged out on my iPhone or my iPad. I think it’s because there was just an update on the RC pro. But now when I try to log back in, I keep getting a message that says check network. I’ve never had this problem before and the Wi-Fi in my house is real strong. I am hoping maybe you might have an idea as to what’s going on maybe there’s some thing that was changed after the RC pro update that I am missing. Thanks and great video.

The issue is that you're not logged into the dji profile. You'll need to log in. If you're logged in already, try logging out and back in. Typically happens if you had an update.

What device are you using? Have you uninstalled the app and downloaded the latest version from the DJI website (not the app store)?

Am using the iPhone 12 Pro. I have Uninstall and downloaded the new iOS from the DJi but the problem still remains. In the app it lets me move the limit bars so I can go up and down however the aircraft itself as soon as it gets to 30 m high this says maximum

But I was flying when a red warning says I reached the maximum distance of 50 meters I say what I try set up the numbers again but same thing now stops at 49 meters so idk why I DOWNLOADED THE LAST VERSION FIRMWARE

Well your range will always depend on a number of things. Biggest one being line of sight, then intereference. If you're getting weak signal its because your connection is about to fail. If you're connect fails then the drone will initiate RTH and come back home.
