Thanks for this video. I just used it to fix a stuck Sport button. One thing I should have paid closer attention to was you saying that you can test its operation (to see if you get that nice, satisfying 'click') AFTER you have the bottom piece in place. Because there are springs under the switch I was fooled into thinking that it should be making that click after the switch was snapped back onto the plastic.
You mentioned coffee, latte, and pumpkin spice as being the cause of a sticky switch. Just curious on your opinion about half sweet gluten free extra lactose 2 pump 3/4 foam lightly stirred Chai Tea Latte with a straw... since you didn't specify what kind of latte?
Do you find now that you're a Cayenne owner, that when you drive past a Starbucks in pumpkin spice season, the steering wheel tends to pull towards the drive through?
I NEEDED THIS SO BAD!!! My sport button has been stuck in Sport mode since I bought it 7 months ago. I'd press that "button" thinking that was how but it would never change so I figured it must be in some hidden menu I could never find. I just assumed the ride was harsh because I put big Mud Terrain tires on it but today the button went into Normal drive mode and the car was buttery smooth over holes/bumps in the road!!! I'm gonna take it apart and clean that bitch now so it WORKS like it should!😉
