No controller support on mobile just killed the game for me

I use a wired PS5 controller and was having the same problems as everyone else. Went thru the exact same frustration this guy did last night, but ALSO found the DS4 Windows app, downloaded it, ran it in the background and VIOLA! -- my controller worked just fine. That's no excuse though: Kuro absolutely should have offered full support for all major controllers at LAUNCH. Between the EN livestream mess, their crashing website + web event, and then the controller issue at launch, so far I'm NOT impressed with Kuro. Nevertheless, if the devs can simply PLZ add the option in "Camera Settings" to "invert the Y axis", I'll be peachy keen!

If you are playing on a computer, but have a PS5, just make sure to connect the bloody thing with the wire AND remove the device from the bluetooth. As long as you have your controller connected via bluetooth it wont work.

Man Thank you so much for the trick it works perfectly. Plus for those who's interested DS4 allows you to change your controller's color/intensity light, it's a safe app to use and could be useful for other games ( from an emulator for example ). I hope Kuro Games will fix their game ASAP, this day one launch is a joke so far, issues almost everywhere ( even their launcher is messed up on my PC). Btw is it just me or the graphics on PC are low ? It almost looks like a PS3 game

Same here! But I don't even get the option of buttons mapping like what you shown on your video. It just gives me the option to pick between a dynamic joystick or a static joystick 😭

Just tried plugging my PS4 controller in with usb no 3rd party software. Works just fine aside from me not being used to the controls yet, played a bit on KBM beforehand.

Is there an option for inverted camera when we use the controllers?

I FINALLY figured out my issue with this: WuWa was auto-detecting my Azeron Cyborg keypad as the controller for the game, so it wouldn't recognize my Dualsense or Elite 2 controllers. As soon as I unplugged my Azeron, the normal controllers worked perfectly!

It works for Xbox controller on pc but I do have it wired but my ps5 controller wired or Bluetooth doesn’t work.

the way I worked around controller not working was to add wuwa into my steam library as a non-steam game, and then just play it with steams goated controller support.

I've also been having problems on the mobile version The game only loads in long enough for me to accept the privacy policy and then it just keeps crashing I've kept uninstalling and re-downloading the game but it just doesn't want to work

Im having the same problem, but my controller is a Gamesir G7 (which is technically xbox controller), but as soon as I enter the game and try to move the character it just turns off after one single step

It works wirelessly with ps4 on pc when i set ds4 profile to emulate as xbox controller somehow. The game itself still shows the right ps controller button layout so no confusions there. Finally it was annoying to play with cable

I’m playing the game on the ASUS ROG Ally (handheld PC) but it really blows that it doesn’t work with the Backbone mobile controller because I find the Backbone a lot easier to play with than the ROG Ally.

I have been trying to play the game but mobile has no feature to use a controler and I use a ipad pro. Its such a mess idk If I should just wait for the ps5 verion at this point... Im loving the game the combat and exploration is just torture without a controler.

the worst part is that the game also does not allow you to use other programs which attach certain keyborad keys to the controller buttons, so i can't play it, not even with DS4 Windows

As soon as you remove the cable, it will work again. but now it doesn't work at all. after several client patches. I don't mind playing on the keyboard, just a very slow mouse. although I set the sensitivity to maximum

Nice to know my "fancy" ps5 controller will work. Pretty funny how you comment that the ps5 is expensive but a decent gaming rig is more expensive than a PS5 so your point is moot.

DS4 worked to get my PS4 controller working. However the WW menu option that changes O and X for accept and cancel doesn't do anything for me. It's always X for select and O for cancel no matter which one I choose haha oh well maybe they will patch it later. All other buttons work as intended.

As a ps5 user I tried it with controller I'm on ipad just to play and it doesn't give me a controller or anything so-

I just use steam and add the game as a non steam game into the library and launch the game from there thta makes the controller work If you're gonna do this make sure to add the game itself and not the launcher

Apparently theres a bug where if bluetooth is on it wont detect a controller. Connect the controller via usb and turn off the bluetooth on the PC.

Hey guys quick update here from Denver, So i did the xbox controller but it has to be as with the xbox One ver. I have the red and white color with the USB 3.0 and it work pretty much on my end hope this help. Yes it has to be wired no need to download the app as long you have updated your windows up to date, No i do not have win 11 i have win 10 and also work on win 7.. Yes win 7 is alot...... Of work

The problem I have with DS4 is not necessarily that it doesn't work The problem I have is that if you want to use a wireless controller with it, nearly every guide I've seen is confusing at best or contradictory at worst against another guide

If for anyone using PS4 controller rumble doesn't work, try going into profile settings and in "Other" switch "Emulated Controller" to Xbox

PS5 controller with BT works fine for me. I can swap between it and kbm anytime.

The application was of no use to me and I downloaded other programs of dubious origin too much, I don't want my PC to get infected with viruses

I agree on most of this... but just wanted to point out a couple of things.. 1. Rich enough to buy a PS5 xD ... PS5 have been readily available everywhere for some time now and some at their lowest price with the release of the Slim. 2. You don't need to buy a PS5 to get a PS5 controller lol. But otherwise, yes- developers definitely rushed this from a support perspective.

Seems this dev put out a half baked money grab. It should literally be impossible not to release a game without controller support. Even on mobile. Just shows the level of "polish" they put into yhe game. Even the graphics are TERRIBLE on my ipad pro.

The most annoying part of the game is that u cannot change the binds in the game, I had to fuck with ds4windows for a while just to attack on r1 and dodge on circle, weird af

I have a wired PS5 controller and it's not working Edit: Managed to get it to work by actually turning on the controller without having it wired to the computer. It is sluggish and somewhat laggy though but all in all nothing too game-breaking.

My wired Xbox 360 controller registers with the game and it works……sometimes. It’ll be fine then my character just goes running by themselves and the camera moves on it’s own. Using no emulator atm. It’s spotty at best.
