This is an amazing video, your knowledge of hair health is so reassuring and makes you think if you had an issue like this you are exactly who you'd want to see, someone who looks after the scalp and hair not just the final style and not really caring about the health of the hair. I absolutely love this style. I have CCCA instead of traction alopecia, but my hairloss is in the crown as well. You should most definitely think about doing a video on CCCA because alot of alopecia is hereditary and scarring.

Yes exactly and that doesn’t have anything to do with weaves etc. I have it and hardly ever do styles that pull, hardly ever wear wigs and have never been much into wearing my hair in weave styles in general but my grandmother had the same thing (she never even had a relaxer). Sadly it’s just in the genes. 😞

Docs say I have ccca as well. No one else in my family has alopecia. I alone get to carry the glory of that trophy. My doc says it’s an auto immune disease. I did shots at one point and got HORRIBLE headaches not to mention the pain from the injection only to see your hair fall again later… no one should have to go through any illness… 😢💔

@@kikiwyls CCCA was such a difficult diagnosis for me but I learned that the diagnosis was not the end to my story. I kept praying, researching, and talking to people because I refused to accept that my hair would continue falling out and there was nothing that could be done. Long story short, I learned that I had diabetes and PCOS which caused my hormones to be out of wack and loss of hair as well. My doctor told me the only thing I could do to cure a lot of my problems that were caused by my weight at the time was to lose weight, which I did. Almost 200 pounds later, my hair started to grow back, skin cleared up, removed from diabetes meds and a host of other things. Im sharing this hoping that it encourages you to keep fighting and searching to find the answer. The answer may not be what worked for me but hopefully your answer is within reach. Keep searching and praying. Wishing you peace and blessings.

Awesome video. I’m experiencing the same issue, but the crown is almost completely bald, so I wear wigs. Mine is hereditary. I bald chopped on 1-6 and I’m now all natural under my wig. However, it grows in spotty. I am using the Jamaican castor oil, peppermint oil and coconut oil.

Erlyne Bull I’m so sorry you are experiencing this. The best way to find a great hairstylist is to always observe someone’s hair that you admire. Ask them who their stylist is and try them out. Hope this help.

Thanks you for this message I have the same problem but I stop relaxing the top every time I touch up the perimeter of my head I do treat my scalp and now my hair have gotten a little better but it still Thin but my hair have came back and I do wear this style
