This was very informative. I have not had dandruff since locking my hair 😊 I went 3 weeks without shampooing my starter locs but my scalp was very itchy. I banded my locs to wash them at first. Then I invested in your course and I have been washing my locs once a week ever since. I have not had dandruff or any scalp issues. I use the pad of my finger tips to massage my scalp every day. My locs dry pretty quickly but I wash them in the morning, squeeze out water with a microfiber towel and I let them dry. Thank you for your loc care tutorials. My locs are gorgeous.❤❤❤
Thank you so much dear Betty!🤗🤗🤗😍😍 So much can be prevented when you have a good consistent routine. I'm so glad that you find my content helpful. I really appreciate all your support. Thank you!🤗🤗🤗😍😍😍
Great video! I wash my hair weekly. Since I started rinsing my hair with apple cider vinegar after I shampoo and before I use rinse-out conditioner, and also moisturizing my hair and scalp with water mid-week, my dry scalp and dandruff issues have disappeared. I don't have locs yet, but I plan to start that journey eventually. Thanks for the helpful advice.
This doesn't have to do with locs but i ordered shea butter from your brand on Amazon it smelled planty and a little like Pepto-Bismol but it also had a small nutty and smoky scent does that mean its fake or it's Rancid?
Hello dear! Thank you so much for your order.🤗🤗🤗 No, it is not fake or rancid. From your description, it sounds like what you have is the real deal and fresh. When shea butter gets rancid, it smells overpowering and acidic.❤️❤️❤️
You're right. It's named after osun (camwood) which is one of the components of the soap. I used to pronounce it that way but I stopped because I realised that most people are more familiar with the "Osun state" pronunciation.❤️❤️❤️
I've never really been fully sure about the true pronunciation of Osun (camwood) though. The first time I went to the market to buy it, everyone was very confused about what I was trying to pronounce.😂😂😂 Thankfully, I finally saw it displayed somewhere and just pointed at it.
