I have the same problem. my mom had left the lights on overnight, drove it around a little and the lights had shut off not my headlights, is this a burnt bulb or half dead battery?

This is also necessary if you disconnect the positive battery terminal and it's off long enough to reset the system. The dimmer settings go down and you will have to dial it back up.

What kind of SisterCousin shit is this?! Anybody here who knows how to operate a modern vehicle *and still* has the problem with all the center dash lights going out when the headlights are on with their Datsun Boat Anchors? 13/14 Maxima; the Physical Dimmer Switch is also the Tripometer Stalk so I can't imagine that's faulty. Well...Actually I *can* imagine but I just really hope not... -_-
