How to Fix Delaminating OR Bubbles 8.4" U-connect VP3 VP4 LCD MONITOR Touch-Screen Radio Navigation 

I want to thank you, so much, for your video. It was so much easier than others I watched. I was no nervous about trying this, but after watching your video, I did it. Not all by myself, mostly my husband, but using your video make it so easy.

Do you have a tutorial on how to get the screen from out of the car to begin with and how to install it back in? This video is a great help on swapping screens so MUCH appreciate for this!

Cannot Thank you enough for this video - just replaced mine in the 2018 keep grand Cherokee - unfortunately found not find the V3 screen had to replace with the V2 - for $350 from amazon. It it lasts as long as the first one did ill be happy - easy to do works like a charm

Isn’t it awesome we all forked out thousands on a vehicle just for Chrysler to say eff you when their screens are faulty…. No recall- they’d rather have a class action lawsuit on their hands

Great video, thank you. Do you happen to know if the screen from a 2015 8.4 unit will work on a 2018 8.4 unit? I have a 2018 unit on the way that may need a new screen and I'm hoping to be able just use my existing unit for the donor screen which is in perfect condition if they're compatible.

My 2019 Grand Cherokee has the 8.4 screen but it looks like it's attached to the dash bezel. Will this work? Would I have to separate it from the dash bezel? It looks like the bezel has a protective screen that goes right over the LCD screen.

Update on the Dodge RAM navigation problem. They told me that they knew it was a glitch but not enough people have called in to complain to issue a fix.

Idk if you’ll reply but I did the replacement with an SL03 like yours and am getting the image screen off center. It’s about .25 of an inch to the right side (so much I can see a black borderline upon using the backup camera. Do you know what’s the culprit for this and how can I solve it?

The mounting screws from the sl01 didn’t fit the sl03, ended up snapping the end of a screw into the mounting hole of the lcd screen and now the pcb can’t hold contact and causes the screen to reset

$550 for a replacement radio at my dealership, $650 for a replacement screen that I have to install myself…Why would I replace the screen?

After removing my stereo from my 2500 I found out it is a Harmon model . Comes apart slightly different than the one in this video - not sure how to remove the actual touch screen. Do you know how and where I can get a new touch screen. The radio works fine but I can't navigate via the icons on the screen. Looks like the previous owner took out some frustration on the screen. 4:02

Is the Replacement unit prone to the same delamination issue as the Original? I have a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk w/Hemi and my wife noticed the Crack on the display today because she was on the passenger seat and the sunroof was open and the sun just hit it at the right angle. I have an extended warranty so I am not worried about being covered but I want to make sure that I will not be having the same issue in 3 years and 15K miles. My Trailhawk only has 15K miles so I do not think it would have anything breaking specially with this low mileage but I do live in Central Florida and it been a HOT SUMMER this year. Any info would be appreciated.

(Dodge RAM Laramie 1500) My Dodge RAM Laramie 1500 truck will be 7 years old on Christmas Eve. About 2 months ago I ordered a navigation map update and installed it. The installation went off without a problem. Here is the problem. When driving down the interstate at 70 miles an hour and I am in the far left lane. Every time I pass an exit the voice comes over and announces that the speed limit is 30 miles per hour. The display on the map screen changes from 70 miles per hour to 30 miles per hour. After I pass the exit it goes back to 70 MPH. I am not getting off of the exit but keep on traveling in the left lane on the interstate. I have called the map company, “Here” and told them the problem. They said it is not their problem and I need to call Dodge U-connect for a fix. I called Dodge and explained my problem. They said go to the dealership. I did and they told me to back to Dodge U-connect. I was told today when I called it was a glitch in the system. Call Tiffney 800-826-6632 X3025432 Call and complain to have them get this glitch fixed. Here I am the customer wedged between two companies and cannot get any help.
