In this video I demonstrate replacing the display screen in my 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited X. You'll need a T8 and standard and small Phillips screw driver.
The correct part I purchased here (unaffiliated link) oeautotronics..... It's a bit pricy, but fixes my screen delamination issue.
The wrong part, which you can find all over Amazon is www.amazon.com.... As noted, this one has a single ribbon cable and will not work with this model.

Yep. Same, order3d 1 ribbon, but dont know if mine has 3 ribbons

My screen looks exactly like that in the beginning and the radio has been glitching and doing whatever it wants for over a year. i can’t even listen to one song and it’s driving me crazy!!! They told me it needs a factory reset but I would rather replace it. Were you having glitching issues ?

I had no issues with the radio, just the delaminating screen.

Is there anyway to tell if you have the 1 or 3 ribbon cable without taking it apart first ? I see them on Amazon for way cheaper but it looks like they all have the single ribbon cable.

I just ordered with amazon and it is 1 ribbon, demounted from my.jeep and it is 3 ribbon 😢. Found on cuescreens other display..

Yes most amazon are fakes, 1 ribbon, i have to return it... JGC 2020 and i guess before is 3 ribbon

@@adquadrumr9161ouch that’s annoying. I just checked out the quescreens and they look like they are 400. I found them on eBay for around 250. Not sure about quality but I like that price a lot better haha. I guess I’ll be pulling mine apart soon to see which one I have although I’m fairly certain now it’s the 3 ribbon. I have a 2019.

@@phazon0138 yes, better do that to make sure it fits. From my research on FB on Jeep Grand Cherokee Forum / Group which has over 250k users, its 3 ribbons and the ones on ebay / amazon at 250 USD are cheap replicas..the ones at 400 are better :/ also the one i ordered on amazon at 250 looks cheap made compared to the original one (built quality, ribbon, plus doesnt have any branding)

Hi, unfortunately I do not know of an easy way to determine in advance which one is needed. I purchased the single cable first, and then found that I needed the more expensive three cable version once I pulled the facia.
