I have a 2008 scion tC that I had this same exact problem and I have disconnected my battery plenty of times for other reasons and my gauges still not working...they told me it's an electronic issue and not my cluster

1999-2002 S series - Poor ground connection on the small braided ground wire from the ECM to the left strut tower. Solution: Take the ECM mounting bolt that connects the wire out and sand all surfaces and reconnect the braided wire. If that doesn't work try changing throttle position sensor. may work for other makes ???

This is just a temporary fix... I did this.. worked awhile... then quit again. Need permanate solution (ie what caused this to happen).

The dashboard lights and gauges (speedometer, gas, oil temp, etc.) were not working on my 2005 Honda Accord. Disconnecting the battery and reconnecting fixed this issue!

So now my fuel gauge and temperature gauge don't work, the dash light is off, my windows won't go up and down, and my ac doesn't work at all anymore. Everything worked perfectly fine last night, and now this morning its all off. Will this still help?

Will the same thing work on my 2005 Honda Accord the dash light and gas gauge in the speedometer indicator isn't working on the car so disconnecting the ground wire would it help cuz I disconnected the hot wire too and reconnected it back and it's still not working

My avenger says it's idling at 1k rpm at operating temp with a full tank🤣 the keys not in it the cars completely dead can't even lock the doors it acted real stupid so I had to pull over and I thought maby if I turn it off and back on it would be good again but nope I'm thinking it's time for a new alternator and possibly a battery

Bro top tech tip, just worked on my 1998 Toyota Caldina GT-T! Disconnected negative terminal for 60 secs, boom!

Also if you do strip it. Vise grip it! Awesome vid!
